My wife and I stayed at Hotel Terrace for a one night pit stop on our honeymoon after we decided to extend our stay in Kuta by a night. The hotel was clean and well located, both close to the beach and the popular Legian street which was full of bars, shops and restaurants. The hotel breakfast was decent and the room amenities were okay, although the balcony was not much of a balcony and the city view was of a building. That said, the staff was really pleasant and helpful with us when we tried to find a driver to take us on a long day trip the next day, and we have been using him ever since (his name is Dewa and he is great)! We would stay there again, especially for its affordability.

Had a great week in this hotel. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room was very spacious and all very clean. Location is great for the beach (5 mins walk) and very close to the main road in Kuta with the shops and restaurants. If I had one issue it would be that the view from my balcony wasn't great, but I think I was a little unlucky in that respect.

This hotel is in a good location, u can walk to kuta beach in about 15 minutes, to Legian beach in 25, tons of shopping. I think that Kuta is more geared toward shopping and drinking and tourists. If you want a truly chill out Kuta is not the location for you, of your up for a lot of activity this is the place. If you don't get breakfast included, no worries, options available all around and u can negotiate price on arrival.

I have never written a review, but the Rama and their staff went above and beyond. My two cousins and I stayed for 13 nights at the Rama. The property is gorgeous and well kept and clean. We got a cottage and the room was large and the cleaning staff did an amazing job everyday. It is peaceful and the pool and lounge area is a great place to relax. The staff are genuinely nice and they really get to know you vice versa. The beach is a 5 minute walk and it is not as busy as Kuta beach, but if you would like a touristy area you can take a nice long ( about 20 minutes) down the beach walk. There is a warung right on the beach near the hotel that has fresh coconuts and down the beachwalk is a surf shop call Bali Back in Black that will teach your how to surf.

Global travelers arrive at nearby Ngurah Rai Airport and head to Kuta for bargain shopping, budget accommodations, and an active nightlife scene at the city's restaurants, bars, discos, and clubs. During the day, Kuta's white sand beaches offer ideal surfing conditions for novice surfers catching their first wave. Scooter rentals, known as ojeks, are a convenient way to explore Kuta and beyond.
