"Nice hotel next to the Daiba railway station"
We stayed in a comfortable hotel room with a balcony and view. The bed was very spacious and we requested for a queen size. For Japan standards, the bathroom was quite large. The staff are very friendly, they always go over and above to ensure that customers have a great experience from the start to finish. For example: 1. we arrived after late check-in deadline but the reception reserved our room. 2. After check out, the conceirge held onto our bags until we were ready to leave.

"Quiet location & good price, but..."
The APA Hotel Tokyo Kiba is a pretty standard Japanese business hotel with small, but comfortable rooms. I usually stay a few subway stops away near Kayabacho Station on the Tozai Line, but decided to try this hotel because of the price and location. Kiba Station (on the same Tozai Line) is an easy five minute walk from the hotel, giving you easy access to many places of interest in Tokyo - especially the eastern part of the city. The station area has a fair amount of restaurants, but no decent places to grab a cup of coffee in the morning. Fortunately there are a few convenience stores, but both were Sunkus, with no sight of the more popular chains like 7-11, Lawson or FamilyMart. I opted to include breakfast with my room, but it wasn't really worth the price. I ate it every morning, but only because I'd paid for it. And the first morning, I had to endure the 'crazy rantings' of another guest, who was constantly talking to himself and/or the hotel staff during breakfast. I nearly lost it and shouted at him to be quiet! Thankfully I didn't see him at breakfast again, but did hear him shouting obscenities on his phone while he was in his room (we were on the same floor...). I don't think hotel staff in Japan handle these situations well as they seem to defer to the person who is often the source of the problem. Confrontation is avoided at all costs here, which means the person who makes the most noise usually gets their way... Oh well, it could've been worse...

"Nice base from which to visit Tokyo"
Great hotel. Upmarket and well presented. Seems to be a hub for business conventions but this didn't interfere at all with our stay. Great range of restaurants right on the doorstep. About 500m walk to Toyocho Metro station from where you can start exploring Tokyo.

"comfortable, close to Big Sight"
A comfortable stay which is close to Tokyo Big Sight. Convenient for me as I had to visit exhibitions in Big Sight for 3 consecutive days. It is a quiet serviced apartment style hotel with high privacy, nice balcony with lovely view. Lots of good Japanese food in the mall nearby (8mins walk). Very convenient travel to/from Haneda airport with Airport Shuttle Bus.

"Close to trains, shops and restaurants "
Hotel was nice and clean. The room was not huge, though not as tiny as some in Tokyo. The room had a self-contained bathroom and toilet, wardrobe, tv and desk. The hotel restaurant was a Chinese restaurant, it had nice food but a limited range especially at breakfast. The staff were very friendly.

"Could be cleaner but overall good. "
This is my second time staying here, location is excellent, very near Tokyo Big Sights which i had to get to early for an event. I got a twin room + sofa bed (3 beds in a room), and upon moving the sofa to make some space for the lugguages, i found the carpet under the sofa had probably never been cleaned since the beginning of time. Bottle caps, dust, and who knows what, really needed a good vacuum and clean - imagine sleeping on the sofa bed over that pile of stuff....yucks. Anyway, overall it was alright.

"Capsule is a capsule. "
Polite and helpful staff, plece was clean alright. Expedia or the hotel should mention that the shower is common and open. Also, the hotel must put a big board and inform every single customer when checking in "NO TALKING IN THE CAPSULE FLOOR". On the first early morning at about 5:45am, one guy was waiking his friend so loud as if he owned the floor. There was one other noisy guy the same morning. One idiot is enough to disturb 20 people. Good location, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop and 4 minutes walk to the subway.

Koto is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Koto, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Koto hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
