"Nice family hotel"
Considering that most of Japanese hotels are really small, Oakwood is great because it has larger spaces in every way. It was like living in a one-bedroom apartment for the 4 of us - and most of the things were very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed including a rice cooker, and my family really enjoyed staying there.

It was very close to the station so it has the convenience of going to transport, and there are a few shops and food places around as well. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the staff offered great assistance in helping me get the room I wanted. There aren't much to watch on the television but most people aren't here to watch TV, so it doesn't really affect my rating.

This was my second stay at this hotel and I'd gladly go again. The area is very quiet at night so is a nice place to get a good rest away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city. The interior of this small boutique-style hotel is very beautiful and the entrance to the hotel has many marble features. The room design was attractive. My bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The bathtub was large, had very good water pressure, and a nice shower head for a relaxing bath. The room was quiet and I heard neither outside noise nor inside hallway or adjoining room noise. The surrounding area is an excellent place day or night to just go out and walk as the surrounding architecture is stunning and the night lights are gorgeous. It is a very quiet area without a lot of choices for meals outside so it might be wise to eat in the city first. The breakfast might be one of the best I've ever enjoyed at a hotel in my 37 years in Japan! The bacon is crispy, like in America, which I was happy to discover. All of the ingredients are of the best quality and expertly prepared. Really, I can't praise this hotel enough. Each member of the hotel staff I encountered from the front desk, cleaning staff, and servers was professional and polite.

"Accommodations were wonderful. "
The employees were friendly, rooms kept clean, they couldn't do enough for us and made us feel welcomed. Checking in and out of the hotel was a breeze and they handled our luggage for us right up until we boarded our bus to leave. The only draw back was the food. I didn't think much of the buffet and the eggs and coffee were terrible. The items on the buffet didn't go well together. My husband eats just about anything and he too was very disappointed in the food. We frequently eat Japanese dishes at home in Hawaii, and the Hotel Odaiba food did not compare. It was definitely the only disappointment in our whole Tokyo experience.

Stayed here for an initial two days and again on my last day returning from Mt. Rokko Nice comfortable small rooms . Internet speed is good . Staff at late check two Guys , speak good English and are extremely cheerful . The restaurant at he basement serves wonderful pizzas . food is good . They can provide DRIP coffee as not all people prefer tea (especially green tea in the mornings ) . In total , good place .. Also facilitate a check at 11 am or 12 pm especially for regulars .. If we check inn at 2 am its kind of hard to check out by 10 am

"Quiet location & good price, but..."
The APA Hotel Tokyo Kiba is a pretty standard Japanese business hotel with small, but comfortable rooms. I usually stay a few subway stops away near Kayabacho Station on the Tozai Line, but decided to try this hotel because of the price and location. Kiba Station (on the same Tozai Line) is an easy five minute walk from the hotel, giving you easy access to many places of interest in Tokyo - especially the eastern part of the city. The station area has a fair amount of restaurants, but no decent places to grab a cup of coffee in the morning. Fortunately there are a few convenience stores, but both were Sunkus, with no sight of the more popular chains like 7-11, Lawson or FamilyMart. I opted to include breakfast with my room, but it wasn't really worth the price. I ate it every morning, but only because I'd paid for it. And the first morning, I had to endure the 'crazy rantings' of another guest, who was constantly talking to himself and/or the hotel staff during breakfast. I nearly lost it and shouted at him to be quiet! Thankfully I didn't see him at breakfast again, but did hear him shouting obscenities on his phone while he was in his room (we were on the same floor...). I don't think hotel staff in Japan handle these situations well as they seem to defer to the person who is often the source of the problem. Confrontation is avoided at all costs here, which means the person who makes the most noise usually gets their way... Oh well, it could've been worse...

Hotel was nice and clean. The room was not huge, though not as tiny as some in Tokyo. The room had a self-contained bathroom and toilet, wardrobe, tv and desk. The hotel restaurant was a Chinese restaurant, it had nice food but a limited range especially at breakfast. The staff were very friendly.

Koto is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Koto, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Koto hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
