Great location to WB Studios

Great location if you are visiting WB studios, the room was clean and nice, TV remote broken. The room was definitely any of the rooms shown on the website though, it was clean and comfortable but cramped, with a tiny window, do felt very dark. The bar area to get food was very small, we waited a good 5 minutes for someone to appear to take our order, not friendly, didn't give us a total bill, we had to ask how much it came to and wouldnt give us a receipt. The foid was good, just tye service, atmosphere and decor was lacking, our table had someones initals carved into it! On these impressive, i wouldnt book again.

Disappointing.

Our stay started well but unfortunately this did not continue. A jacket had been left from a previous guest in our room in the hanging area. Also sadly a wedding was taking place on the day of our departure which resulted in a large number of hotel guests shouting to one another in the corridor where our room was from 7am in the morning about the wedding set up etc and moving items from the rooms to the wedding venue. Which disturbed our sleep. So much so on 2 occasions I went out and asked them to keep the noise down.

Beautiful but slow service and no aircon

Beautiful location, lovely gardens. Limited menu and no one ebert around to serve you. Multiple times trying to find someone. Worst part: "air con" ... Yeah it was in the room, but it's not fit for use. A desk fan would have been stronger. Not what you want when you specifically book because it says it has it and it's 30+ degrees

Prefacing this by saying I’m not angry, it’s just disappointing as I have to stay here for work. Woke up to a the sound of staff shouting and arguing in the corridor outside my room about shower heads. The next day woke to an event with loads of drumming in the gardens. Cracking. Tried to eat in the bar on day one at designated hours but there was an event on so no food at all was being served. Waited half an hour for staff to tell me that because there were no staff around. A cleaner even asked if I was still waiting. Was asked to wait an hour due to the conference. Ordered. Waited 45 minutes further as someone cut their hand which is unavoidable of course and I hope they are okay, but it’s all just really not good enough? I don’t mind any of these things if I’m informed. It seems unless you are paying thousands for a wedding or a conference, the service you receive is poorrrrrr. Though I will say individuals are not to blame- I’ve not met a staff member that was not wonderful but the processes are clearly a mess. My meal came and I ordered a side with my meal of red slaw due to allergies. The kitchen sent my meal with regular slaw as they had run out of red slaw but DIDNT tell me- which I could have eaten by mistake and had a medical emergency. I’m sure you’ll agree, also not great.

Rooms too hot but every thing else excellent

Excellent stay, staff were friendly and efficient and food was excellent. Only issue was that in our room the windows could not be open so the room became very hot and humid overnight, not very comfortable. When we mentioned this at reception we were told it was a Health and Safety issue. If that is the case then the hotel should be able to supply fans or change the windows to make it even more comfortable for the guests.

Hunton park hotel

Stay was ok.Staff was nice and friendly.nice garden. Room and property was starting to look a bit ruff around the edges and is in need to a bit of maintenance and refurbishment. Lack of snacks behind the bar when we had checked in and was told can’t sell the ones behind the check in desk till after 10pm so had to drive to shop to get snacks. Dinner was average. No fresh mint for mojito which was surprising as there was a wedding being held at the time. Breakfast was also average. Booking on hotel.com led to believe we were getting a room with King size bed. We had a double.
