My wife remembers this place from the 1970's when it was the place to go for conferences. Despite it's serious decline some years back, it has made a remarkable recovery. You can still see signs of wear, but we found the room quite comfortable and very reasonably priced. We will definitely consider it on our next trip to the area.

This basic motel would be good for a 1 or 2 night stay in this area. For the price it was a decent value. It was clean & comfortable but nothing fancy. Our room had no air conditioning - so keep that in mind if you plan to be there during hot summer weather. -- The lack of A/C was not an issue as the weather was not too hot during our stay (they had a fan in the room).

Our trip went from good to excellent the moment we checked in to the Killington Motel. Not only did the room have extra pillows in the closet but there was an additional space heater and fan as well. Stephen had excellent breakfast options and the generosity was better than I had ever seen. He gave us a gift card for a local coffee shop in town just because we were talking about the place! After a cold day of skiing, Robin offered to make coffee and hot water for tea! I have never seen such hospitable people in a hotel/motel setting. The service is one of a kind and I would recommend this motel to anyone! We also stayed an extra night (a Friday) and they charged us the same great midweek rate we received online when booking.

Be aware that staying here is more like a bed & breakfast. Common areas with a TV and pool table are good. Rooms are spartan and includes bunk beds. The rooms do not have a TV. Showers are small but the beds are comfortable. This is a great value for a small group of guys on a ski weekend but if you are looking for comfort then this probably isn't what you're after. Location is about 3-5 miles away from food and services so it is very peaceful. People who run this place are very helpful and nice.
