Clean rooms with nice staff, but outdated facilities. Looked like they were renovating. so various rooms were in progress. My kids loved access to the outdoor pool and there was a nice, basic workout facility available with treadmill, elliptical, etc. Several facilities (e.g., dining/restaurant) were only available to the conference attendees, so that was disappointing, although again, this didn't matter to my kids. They had a great time... Most of the days we travelled about one hour in either direction to go to various tourist attractions. It is a beautiful state and we enjoyed our time in Vermont!

Our trip went from good to excellent the moment we checked in to the Killington Motel. Not only did the room have extra pillows in the closet but there was an additional space heater and fan as well. Stephen had excellent breakfast options and the generosity was better than I had ever seen. He gave us a gift card for a local coffee shop in town just because we were talking about the place! After a cold day of skiing, Robin offered to make coffee and hot water for tea! I have never seen such hospitable people in a hotel/motel setting. The service is one of a kind and I would recommend this motel to anyone! We also stayed an extra night (a Friday) and they charged us the same great midweek rate we received online when booking.

This basic motel would be good for a 1 or 2 night stay in this area. For the price it was a decent value. It was clean & comfortable but nothing fancy. Our room had no air conditioning - so keep that in mind if you plan to be there during hot summer weather. -- The lack of A/C was not an issue as the weather was not too hot during our stay (they had a fan in the room).

If you are looking a good place to sleep and take breakfeast this is the best. The bed is awesome and Mike and Barb (the owners) are so nice. The breakfeast they offer is great, perfect to start the day with energy. We were so delighted to could stay in such wonderful place.

Be aware that staying here is more like a bed & breakfast. Common areas with a TV and pool table are good. Rooms are spartan and includes bunk beds. The rooms do not have a TV. Showers are small but the beds are comfortable. This is a great value for a small group of guys on a ski weekend but if you are looking for comfort then this probably isn't what you're after. Location is about 3-5 miles away from food and services so it is very peaceful. People who run this place are very helpful and nice.

"Nice staff, great breakfast & close to the slopes!"
This hotel is just what the name states, a place to sleep between your outdoor activities. if you are expectine marble encrusted bathrooms, this is not for you, but if you are looking for a clean place to lay your head at night, which happens to be 5 minutes from the slopes, then this is a great fit for you! Breakfast was spot on, and got us started on our day!
