"Perfect location across the street from the beach."
Upon arriving we were immediately upgraded to a one bedroom suite. We have stayed at
the Maui Coast a few times and once again the customer service was impeccable. It is great central location for beaches and day trips. We used the Dollar Car rental twice during our trip as well as the free shuttle to Wailea. Even the Wifi has improved.

Resort staff fine and good grounds. The condo we got was old, old fashion decor, old appliances that kind of worked, hot water never worked in one bathroom, need better furniture on patio, need some condiments such as salt, sugar--things I have always found at other condos on Maui.

Although the staff at CRH are truly amazing to deal with, the facility at Kamaole Sands is dated and shows its age. I booked with Expedia so was not able to determine at the time of booking that this property has all the 1 bedroom suites on the ground floor. To get a second floor you need to book a two bedroom. This was disappointing. As we were late arrival (after 11 pm) the staff had our room key and info waiting for us. This was step one in quality service we received from staff. Our room was in okay condition, however the bathrooms had lime deposit build up and dirty toilets. There had obviously been very little updates to this particular unit since the year it was built. Also, the AC in the bedroom was broken (very old) and the in-room safe was incapable of opening. Upon reporting these issues to building services, they had a technician come out right away to check on things, however were unable to remedy the issues during our stay as both items needed to be replaced. After departing the property, I forgot to pack my shirts from the closet. I called staff and was once again impressed with their professional assistance in finding my things and shipping them back. Gold star to staff, participation ribbon to the property... Also, I don't recommend Kihei to anyone - stay somewhere cool like Paia or Lahaina.

Kihei is at reasonable distance from everything on Maui. We drove to Haleakala summit, the road to Hana, Kaanapali beach, Lahaina, Wailea...
Plus it's about 25min drive to/from the airport.
The condo was simple, bathroom seemed renovated. The only thing that bothered me was the windows of the bedroom, which are towards the corridor of all condos, but we managed to sleep well.

"Nice Condo, very close to beach, great location."
Great location to stay, central to Maui. Good local food, and not far from resorts. Pool and hot tub area very clean and relaxing. Nice beach out front with lawn and lawn chairs for use for sun bathing. Great view of the ocean, and good swimming and boogie boarding right at the condo. Very enjoyable and affordable. Why stay at the resort for a ton of money when you can stay here and be comfortable and drive just a few minutes to the resorts if you really want to.

Kihei has many big-city amenities, including notable restaurants. Here, visitors can sample Hawaiian cuisine and learn about the state’s obsession with SPAM, the canned meat. Kihei’s beaches—Kamaole, Keawakapu, Kihei, and Mai Poina—are good for walking, swimming, and windsurfing. Makena Beach, south of Kihei, is aptly nicknamed the Big Beach. This beach is 100 yards wide and almost a mile long.
