"Quiet end of Duval street"
Beach was small but nice, open air restaurant on beach. Grounds are nice. Room was very small for the price. Water and water pressure was awefull! I have very short hair that just matted in the shower and had to fight to get the matting out. Yes I use a good conditioner. Can't get on the beach after 11:00pm. Actually everything shuts down at 11:00pm. Resort is located at the quiet end of duval, far from where the happenings are. Put on a lot of walking miles. Drinks at the pool bars are expensive.would only recommend to someone that would appreciate the quietness and didn't care about the prices.

The first night was a little tough with no tv. Electric was off the following morning due to an accident which was no fault of hotel. Great accommodation good time.

"Quirky, specialty hotel"
The hotel was very interesting - all blue lights and very sensual. It was great for me and my husband, but make sure you are going with someone you want to think about in "that" kind of way! It definitely lived up to it's logo of being for sinners and saints!

"Nice, but expensive, hotel near Duval St"
This small hotel has been nicely restored with top quality furnishings. Our room was beautiful, but tiny. At $465/night (not in the peak season), it was not a bargain. Pros: - New luxurious room furnishings - Good location in Key West near the main entertainment/dining district - Very nice poolside breakfast - Helpful staff Cons: - Tiny room (not unlike a cruise ship) - Overpriced

Beach is not for swimming but apparently that's typical of the Gulf side hotels. Other beaches are nearby on the Atlantic side. Shuttle to Duval St is a wonderful perk! Stores, restaurants and vehicle rentals are nearby on the same street....scooters, e-cars, jeeps and jet-skis,etc. The staff is super friendly and very professional. The blonde from London(sorry I forgot her name) was my first contact and she was delightful. Rates were better than many other Key West hotels. 👍👍😎

    Explore Key West

Key West is where the eccentric go for a suntan and a piña colada. The island at the end of the road – the road being the Overseas Highway, which extends 127.5 miles from Homestead, Florida to Key West – has long been a haven for artists, the LGBT community and mainland exiles.

The island and the town of Key West are the same entity. The east side is a modern area of malls and gas stations. It's the western, historic side of town that draws the visitors. They walk, bike and scooter past historical Caribbean homes sweating under palm trees, the most famous being Ernest Hemingway's old mansion. Shop or party along Duval Street – art galleries and gay clubs cluster at the southern end, while t-shirt shops and frat boy bars anchor the north.

Sunsets at Mallory Square, which feature street performers of all stripes, are not to be missed. Neither are the other Florida Keys – there are over 100 islands to explore between Key West and the mainland.
