This place was a true find. We were looking for a small unique, quiet place on the beach. We did not want a large hotel. We found it here. Wonderful tropical landscaping, cozy cottages, free kayaks, swam and snorkeled from the beach, great sunsets, right on the beach. Already have recommended it to friends. Would absolutely say again. Only four miles to John Pennikamp State Park.

Hotel had a great location for those wanting water access. Hotel was somewhat in need of upgrading and repair, but was clean and comfortable. Adjacent restaurant was convenient but higher priced although the food was well prepared. I truly expected a better experience for the price of the room

The room is very small but clean. The door barely closed and had only one small lock. This made it uncomfortable and made s nervous to sleep or leave our belongings. Resort was nice. Just get a bigger room.

"The staff is great. Very attentive and courteous."
All was fine with the staff. My only complaint is that the room's AC unit was very annoying. When set at automatic, the unit is way to loud when it gets started, interrupting our sleep. We had to set the AC on ON to avoid the loud abrupt starts. Also, there was a lot of noise from people hanging and drinking out by the pool area, past midnight.

this hotel looks nice superficially however it is quite tired and in need of investment. The staff were helpful and friendly however and the private beach was quite nice although it would have been nice to have complementary kayaks and sups.
