We stopped here on the first night of a 10 night road trip so we arrived well after dark, went to bed and left early. The room was comfortable enough and clean but there was a nearly overwhelming odor of marijuana throughout the floor we were on (which was supposed to be smoke free)I realize it's legal and the smell usually isn't a big bother to either of us, but it was VERY strong--enough so that it seeped into the room itself. There were a lot of available tv channels. I found the beds way too hard & didn't sleep well, but my husband likes hard beds so I guess we kind of cancelled each other out on that one. Breakfast was pretty good--nice to have eggs as an option and while many things were out when we got there, they kept things stocked fairly quickly. We stayed in other Quality Inns on our trip and found this location to be the best.

Kennewick is set on the Columbia River and is the most populous of the Tri-Cities in southwestern Washington state. The city is the area's retail hub, and numerous wineries dot the surrounding hills. Recreational opportunities abound along the riverfront, like bike trails, parks, and marinas. The city claims to be the Slurpee capital of the world, based on sales figures of the icy beverage.
