"Beautiful hotel in easy walking distance of town"
This is a very beautiful hotel that is very well maintained. The grounds are beautifully laid out and there are plenty of beds to lay out and enjoy the sun by in of the pools. They staff are very friendly.
It is also excellent to be able to use the spa at the next door hotel.

I stayed in several hotels on this trip and all of them are all right. However, this hotel is in a class by itself. It truly is the best. No wonder Lonely Planet rates it so high. Very helpful staff! Comfortable rooms Nice bar Good breakfast. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Pafos.

We chose this hotel because of the very interesting decor. It certainly lived up to expectations and we were not disappointed in any way. The staff were friendly and helpful, good value, good food and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Cheap and easy if that's what you wanted. Close to the main harbour and sea front, easy to get to main bus station and taxi ranks. Supermarket around the corner, plenty of cheap restaurants and very close to bars and nightlife.

The Alecos was great value. It is 10 minutes walk from the beach and the harbour. The apartment was clean and the bed huge! It is situated very near the bars and nightclubs. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay again.

Hotel needs renevoation, but for the price you pay it's OK. Appartments are quite big and spacious. The pool area is very nice. The stuff was disappointing - they were not from Paphos and couldn't help with getting around the city.
In general nice and close to tourist area

On arrival at 10pm we received a speedy, but complete, personal introduction to our room by the owner, which allowed us to get to the nearby supermarket for breakfast supplies before it closed. Room servicing could be carried out later than in many places and meant that after a lie in the room still got cleaned, (and cleaned very well!). Any problems or queries were immediately attended to by the owners or reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the reception personnel, who arranged a very special tour of the local area and a winery with an excellent local company.
The pool and surrounding area was very clean, very well serviced and the owners brought a little treat around to those by the pool virtually every day, which ranged from a fresh fruit juice, to a very tasty kebab!
Even at our time of departure the owners helped out by contacting the taxi company who's pre booked airport taxi failed to arrive.
We had an excellent stay and, like many of the guests there when we visited, w would not hesitate to return again. Highly recommend! Michael and Deb.

"Good location, clean, friendly staff, good value. "
We had 10 nights at this very good hotel.
Dionysos is in a good location in Kato Paphos - two minutes from the sea and seconds away from shops, bars, cafés and restaurants.
This of course means there's a bit of noise from the nightlife.
The reception welcome and hospitality was excellent and the staff were friendly, multilingual and anxious to help.
The Greeks have a word for 'hospitality' - φιλοξενία (philoxenia) - which means friendship to strangers and guests and which is very close to their hearts. We were made to feel very at home.
Rooms are a good size and kept spotlessly clean with balconies looking onto the town and the sea. Towels are changed daily if you want. You get a free use of the in-room safe and fridge. Aircon good too.
The hotel facilities are good for a small hotel with a nice pool area and a peaceful and beautiful little garden with a bar. Perfect for the occasional drink at the end of the night.
Breakfast is a little bonus - good mix of cold meats, cheeses and salad, a hot breakfast buffet, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cereals and pastries. We didn't eat breakfast anywhere else during our whole stay as the selection was good.
The whole experience with Dionysos was wonderful - it was the perfect base for a magical holiday without the impersonal coldness of the larger corporate hotels but with touches that made the stay just as good - and without the painful bill.
Next time I book in Paphos - I will check availability at this little gem first.
