"Close to small shops and restaurants, & Airport"
I would stay there again. 1300 yen cab ride from airport and I used hotel shuttle on return.

"Middle of Everything!"
Hotel was just as advertised. Yes small rooms and no place to set in the lobby but it's Tokyo, a very expensive city so for the price and because the hotel is very clean and service is great and location is AMAZING (train is around the corner), I'd say it's a great place to stay. It's in a busy area where lots of stores and restaurants around. It's in one of the main downtown areas in Tokyo. Consider it like being down town Dallas or even Manhattan (NY).

"Great hotel local to all activities."
Overall a very enjoyable experience. The hotel was ten mins from Shinjuku Station which made it easy to get around Tokyo. Close to convenience stores, nightlife, bars, and great restaurants. They also have a shuttle bus to the station to save you walking in the heat. The rooms are very small but very functional. The showers are amazing. Bed was a bit uncomfortable as having a doona only in summer was way too hot even with air con. The Godzilla head was kitsch but very entertaining. Staff were very friendly. I would stay here again.

"Small but clean and worth the money"
Room is very small. This is normal for tokyo. Dont bring 2 large baggages. There is only enough room for 1 large and 1 medium. The room is well equipped. Very clean and packed with all facilities you need. The location was good. Near the train. Good access to anywhere. Easy to find food and shopping. Would stay again if I want to stay in Shinjuku. Worth the money.

"Perfect departure hotel!"
The hotel's location was PERFECT! The hotel is just 1 floor above the ticket counters for all airlines at Haneda airport. We stayed for the last night of our trip. Breakfast was in the hotel and they had luggage carts available in the lobby. Our departure was seamless from hotel to luggage check in to security. Although the room size was small, the convenience of the hotel to the airport was worth it. Although there is a train station close, it was easier to cab from a larger train station hub. Depending on the station, the cab ride can be up to $50.

"Probably one of the better hotels in the area"
The hotel is nice and clean and the room has a decent size bathroom. The only thing is that the room was a little small but this is typical in Japan. Hotel staff was helpful. It was pretty nice that we got free breakfast every morning which was a buffet.

"New hotel close to Haneda Airport"
The location of the hotel is pretty good. It is close to a subway station with access to many little cafes and restaurants. Our room was small but from what I understand it is the standard in Tokyo.

"Efficiency with reasonable price"
This hotel is about 15-20 mins walk from the main shinjuku station west exit. Although it was a little distance, but I found it to be quite a nice walk through the park and the metropolitan building. Nishi-shinjuku is the nearest subway station, which is about 5 mins walk. Personally, I don't think it was worth a hassle to change from JR to subway...because it was quite a distance to walk as well. I dragged my big suitcase all the way from the point I got off NEX train to the hotel. I got the smallest room for one. It was nice, clean, and quiet. No English Channel, but it didn't bother me since it was safe to walk about all day and night in Tokyo by yourself. I would go back to this hotel again.

Great hotel in central Tokyo. We booked an artist room and got free breakfast pastries in the morning and a limited selection of alcoholic beverages in the evening in the artist lounge. We didn't know this as the time of booking so that was an added bonus. Clean, staff friendly, the restaurant was quite expensive but hotels always are. Would definitely stay again.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kamata hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
