We stayed at Heidelberg inn for three nights while visiting Yosemite (Tioga road area). The lodge is charming and our room (actually, a suite) was very nice and clean. Though we have not used it, the suite had a full kitchen. The staff was very helpful. Very quite and relaxing. It's less than half an hour from Tioga pass. Will come again!

We tried this motel for the first time during a recent ski weekend to June Mountain. Our usual places were booked so we decided to give Gull Lake Lodge a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room (a king suite) was larger than we expected with a living room and a kitchen. The bed was pretty comfortable, the bathroom was clean and large with good water pressure. I only gave a 3 for comfort because the living room furniture (futon and chair) where not that great for chillaxing after a long day on the slopes. However you could sleep a couple of extra people here if need be. There were some noisy kids above us. It sounded like they were running back and forth on the walk way. It happened both nights for about an hour. I guess they tired themselves out and went to sleep by about 9 pm so this was not a big deal either.
Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The rate was very reasonable and very close to the ski area. We will be back.

This a fine motel for an overnight stay while riding at June Mountain.... right across the street from Double Eagle resort and spa. The pool at the double eagle is amazing after a day on the slopes, day passes are ~10 for the pool and $20 for the pool and spa, an easy walk from whispering pines. (Whispering Pines also has a hot tub).

We stayed here because we couldn't get into Double Eagle, and we were pleasantly surprised! The place is literally around the corner from June Mtn, the cabin was clean, and the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. The staff was friendly and awesome as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A lake and town, June Lake is 20 miles from Mammoth Lakes. The lake is popular for fishing. A half-mile past the town of June Lake is the June Mountain Ski Area, a lesser-known resort than Mammoth Lakes, but also significantly less crowded. A ski school and snowboarding are also there.
