"What a great hotel!"
The hotel was nice and modern. We really enjoyed the rooms where everything was computerized. From controlling your lights (room and bathroom) to watching tv to opening and closing the curtains. They even had heated floors in the restroom. Staff friendly and super helpful. Location was perfect as well. Very close to the Old Street Underground station so getting around was very easy. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to London.

Friendly efficient staff - room service delivered promptly. Comfortable bed and quiet location. Carpet in room could have been cleaner and there's a difference between retro and dated which I think they are a little confused about.

"Wonderful hotel near Farringdon station"
The staff were very helpful at all times of the day/night. I left my luggage there when I went on a tour and they had my suitcase in my room when I checked in. The room itself was beautiful- beautiful wood furniture, nice mattress, discrete room bar, bathroom/shower. The common room was comfortable and small courtyard very pretty. You need to be able to haul luggage up/down stairs. If I had asked for help (I should have) I am sure they would have assisted. Very close to Smithfield Market- could hear noise from that but if windows open could hear lively local pubs. Fabulous local Italian restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our 13 days stay at the hotel was a most memorable one. The staff were most friendly and accommodating in every aspect. The room was spacious and well done. We were given access to the club Lounge and were also give complimentary breakfast.

"Great city hotel"
The Zetter TH is cosy, warm and welcoming, full of character, more like staying in a fabulous country house hotel than in central London. The standard rooms are on the small side but this is a city hotel so not unusually so. Staff are friendly and efficient, keen to help out when you have questions and the cocktails were great! Reserve a table on the weekends if you want to spend time in the bar as it does get busy. We will definitely be back.

"Convenient, Inexpensive, But the STAIRS!!"
Stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to King's Cross station. It was very convenient to catch the 7 am Eurostar train to Paris as we just literally walk over to the station. The location is also convenient just for catching the tube as you can catch many of the lines from King's Cross. The hotel itself was clean, we had no issues with the room. The staff were professional in our experience - not super friendly but not rude either. The stairs did not make sense at all. I like that they had a lift since a lot of small hotels in Europe do not, but you have to go down or go up a flight to get to the elevator from any floor. And when you get to your floor, there's a couple of steps down then a couple of steps up to get to your room. It was a bit confusing and annoying.

"Brightening up a Grey Day "
February is never the best month for a birthday but have to say the staff at The Zetter especially those on the front desk were ideal at brightening up a grey day, the room on the top floor had a great view from the balcony and we enjoyed the weird and wonderful cocktails both in the hotel bar and across at The Zth Townhouse even if we were sitting next to a stuffed cat...although it was wearing a nice dress so i guess we can make allowances !!!! if there was one tiny pointer it may be that although cocktails were excellent and clearly fitting with the theme , a tiny bit of some classic cocktail 'decor' in or around the glass maybe add even more to the overall affect and maybe make the tip discretionary , although i would have left a tip anyway as the cocktails were rather fab!

Islington is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Islington, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Islington hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
