"Very good location"
Bus stop outside hotel. 10 minute walk to Angel, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We did have a problem in the morning with no hot water. I tried the ensuite shower plus the bathroom shower and ended up having just a cold water splash. We boiled a kettle of water so that we could have a warm wash. We reported it to reception who sent an engineer but by then we were on a time scale for a train. The engineer said we could probably go and have a shower elsewhere but we didn't have time.

"Beautiful hotel good location. "
Our 13 days stay at the hotel was a most memorable one. The staff were most friendly and accommodating in every aspect. The room was spacious and well done. We were given access to the club Lounge and were also give complimentary breakfast.

"Hotel in a central location. "
Overall the hotel is tidy and pleasant. Our room (#118) was on the first floor in the corner of two roads and right outside our windows were A/C units for whatever building was underneath. There is virtually no soundproofing so traffic and the hum from the A/C went on until way past midnight.

"Great staff, good room, nice bar & restaurant"
Reception was efficient and staff super helpful. Lift was a bit slow at times. Nice to have free coffee machine on the each floor for expressos and the like. Room was small but very functional. Bathroom good, nice shower, only negative was slightly smelly drain in the basin. Really enjoyed the restaurant and bar. The f&b staff were great too, and were happy to make me an off-menu brekkie. All in all a very good experience.

"Great Location, Customer Service could be better"
Customer service needs to improve, hard to communicate with live person with large time change difference. Also need a better process to validate photo ID and credit card. Sending that information via unsecured email wasn't very comforting. Just hours before we left the US, we had to contact the reservation office as we still hadn't received the access codes. This is when we found out that apartment had a boiler issue and it was no longer available. They did hold another apartment in nearby Shoreditch for us. This apartment's location was excellent for restaurants, grocery stores and underground. It was noisy on weekend nights, but you're in the heart of the nightlife, not out in the country so was to be expected. Would've been nice to have more amenities like bar soap and more than one load of laundry detergent. Internet wifi was great, cable was great, tv could be larger for the room, but apartment overall was very nice. Would definitely consider next time.

"Excellent but noisy"
The accommodations were nearly perfect for our family with three teenagers. Easily accessible for transit and directions given by the staff were accurate. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen has all new appliances including washer and dryer. You can easily prepare full meals (although there are only 4 dining chairs). We were grateful to have two bathrooms (one with a tub). The bedding was too warm for August and pillows and bed were on the soft side. The sofa bed is not very comfortable when it is pull out. The rooms were clean and fairly new with large windows. Shoreditch is a neat little area that has a great variety of eateries and clubs. Being a busy area made it very, very noisy at nights. We could hear loud music, lots of arguments and sirens throughout the night. It was difficult to control the temperature in the room which we needed to do since the weather changed from hot to cool during our stay. Wifi signal was not consistent. Only one key was given to us so we had to arrange our day accordingly. Overall minor issues for a great stay in Shoreditch.

The room is so big and comfortable. And near by King's cross road station and supermarket. But the reception and the room is different place. You need to go to reception check in and out.

Islington is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Islington, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Islington hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
