I don't know why everyone on here leaving a negative review acts like this is a 5 star resort. You're paying, in some cases $40 a night. If you expected a luxury stay, amazing continental breakfast, and flawless interior/exterior you should've stayed at the hyatt further down. This hotel was nice for the price. Beds were a little uncomfortable but if you're staying in tourist town, why sit in the hotel all day. I never once saw a bug in the room. Only issue I had was them leaving towels in the room. Elevator didn't work, but don't be lazy, the stairs are small. I would definitely stay here again. The price was great, and i had 0 real issues. Bring your own towels and blow dryer if you need one. Also, the pool is amazing.

Check in process was swift and efficient but we were put into a room right next to the maintenance closet and right by the stairwell where we heard sketchy noises and conversations so we asked to be moved and the staff accommodated us right away. We were able to walk to the shops, restaurants and attractions on I-drive! Would definitely stay again!

I experienced three situations which took away from my overall evaluation of the Hotel:
1: The automatic charge of $3.94 per day is added to the bill even if you don't use the safe. This was an unexpected expense. I suggest you increase your room rate to cover your investment of the safes. At least you will not be charging your quest an unexpected expense causing frustration.
2: I had to leave one day early due to a Family Emergency. After explaining this at the desk, I was charged a Cancellation Fee of $29.95 even though I checked out at 7 am. I was told this is required by Expedia. I have no idea if that is correct. If so, I will be hesitant to book through Expedia again.
3: I saw 3 roaches in the room during my stay. That was 3 too many. I advised the front desk. I realize a previous guest could have brought the roaches into the room. My hope is I didn't carry any out of the room with my belongings.

Nice suite with full kitchen but the pans, plates and utensils aren't in the room. You have to pick them up at the front desk. The staff were really nice and came and replaced our DVD player when it wasn't working. The ice machine in the freezer didn't work and you have to go outside to the other side of the pool to get to the ice and vending machines. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and the room had a lot of storage (closets, drawers and cupboards.

This hotel was great. Tons of amenities for everybody. Very nice gym with good equipment. Staff was great. Had a sink issue and someone came to fix it within 10 mins it was working perfectly. Unlimited movie rental was a great feature. Defiantly would stay here again if in Orlando.

International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. The I-Ride trolley (really a bus) stops frequently along the street. At the north end of International Drive are two shopping meccas: Prime Outlets-Orlando and The Mall at Millenia.
