I stayed here with my boyfriend for a long weekend. It is an older hotel that they have updated (new floors, beds, furniture, and vanity area but the walls and bathroom are still a bit drab and dated). I stayed in a King room which was very spacious and clean. There is a mini fridge and microwave in each room. The only cons of the room were that it was a bit dark, except the vanity which had big lights. The room lights weren't very bright and since it is directly on a walk-way area you cant pull open the blind unless you want people looking in.
The overall resort was nice. We hung out by the pool which was very clean and the bartender was very nice as well. There is a game room and workout room too which we didn't get to use unfortunately. We had a great time walking across the street to a number of bars, restaurants, and activities. The Orlando eye is a quick walk away and Universal studios is a 5 min drive. It's really a convenient location with super friendly staff. For a long weekend this was a great place to stay especially for the price.

Right off a main highway so everything is close but traffic is bad. Typical room with double full size beds. Bathroom is nice and clean. Fridge wasn't cooling beverages that well. Clean sheets and pillows, no cigarette burns.

Accomodation was okay, hotel smelled musty, carpets should be removed and updated with hardwood or laminate flooring. No shuttle service available to go anywhere or even bring you to your room on check in or out...maybe a golf cart since the rooms further away could be helpful especially when you have luggage. Staff were nice.

I stayed here for a convention at Orange County Convention Center. The location was perfect for that as it as a 10 minute walk to the convention center (all sidewalks, no crazy intersections to cross) and it was directly across the street from Pointe Orlando where many of the evening socials were held. The onsite restaurants are decent and reasonably priced too. If you're doing a convention and are on a budget this is the perfect place for it. One caveat: the room looked and felt pretty clean, but there was a slight musty smell. It wasn't terrible and I got used to it after 5 minutes in the room, but it was there. I suspect its due to the humidity since all rooms open to the outside. Beds were comfortable.

International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. The I-Ride trolley (really a bus) stops frequently along the street. At the north end of International Drive are two shopping meccas: Prime Outlets-Orlando and The Mall at Millenia.
