The location is Great if your not driving and need to be close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We stayed one night before our cruise. The young lady at the front desk checking us in was not friendly and she was slow. The tub was dirty and the blanket smelled. It's ok for 1 night.
The stay was good however the beds very creaky and in need of updating (1 bed had a hole in the middle), the pillows were lumpy, cups did not replaced. On checkout day, even though it was 1200 checkout, we were asked before 0900 by the room attendant what time we would be leaving and then also had several knocks on the room door to also ask. The location was very good opposite the Orlando Eye and serveral good restaurants within walking distance.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Several nice pools to swim in. Only complaint was that the deli/marketplace/gift shop closed early. So there were no places to have a snack/drink after coming back from the theme parks.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, surrounded by lots of trees and other hotels. I have seen a sheriffs car in the area as well as security officers. The hotel is close to Orlando Eye. Pretty much at a walking distance.
There were questionable stains on the two seater in my room. We stayed away from it. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom was great. The staff was great, helpful. There is a pool in the center of the hotel. And a spa. You'll have fun there. It's great.

From the time I checked in until the time I checked out everything was excellent. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. I arrived early and was able to do early check in which was great. The room was neat and clean. It was very relaxing. They have a plethora of restaurants where you can eat including a diner that is 24 hours. The spa was amazing and very relaxing. It's a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. You have Pointe Orlando which is a five minute walk from the hotel where you can eat, bowl, shop, go to the movies and a few other things. They also have a plethora of restaurants to choose from so you never have to have the same thing twice and the prices are reasonable. The malls are also near by. I would say a 15- 20 min drive from the hotel.
International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. The I-Ride trolley (really a bus) stops frequently along the street. At the north end of International Drive are two shopping meccas: Prime Outlets-Orlando and The Mall at Millenia.
