"Best time"
Great hotel experience. Extremely well maintained hotel. Clean, well furnished. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Suggesting options for beaches, dining, etc. They will meet you at the harbor given notice and deliver you and your luggage to the lobby. Return to harbor also. Angeliki was especially helpful. Would definitely return.

"Nice little hotel close to the ferry port"
We stayed here for one night and really like it. It's about 10 minutes walk from the ferry port and the marina where so many nice restaurants, souvenirs shops and banks are located. It comes with a free breakfast and the yougurt I had there was the best I tasted ever! The room is spacious and has air-condition. It has TV but just a small outdated one. But we really don't care though since it is such an amazing island with a lot to see. Staffs are super friendly and always there to help you. I highly recommend this place.

"Lovely, affordable hotel."
This is a very attractive small hotel with the rooms located around a central courtyard. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but clean. The bathroom was also small and the shower only had a handheld sprayer (perhaps to save water?) WiFi is free and breakfast is offered for 7 Euros. We didn't spend much time in our room, so it worked well for us.

"A good choice"
Hotel is good value and conveniently located close to is therefore close to the restaurants and the bars. Owner was nice and gave a warm welcome and showed me a map of the area...everything is within walking distance. Rooms are spotless, with fridge and good bathroom facilities. Towels are provided for the beach. Guesthouse was slightly noisier than I would have expected and were a lot of people coming and going without being checked by reception (there is another front door which was always unlocked and bypasses the front reception desk) . I would not have been comfortable leaving valuables in my room and there is no safe. Hot water was a bit hit and miss.

"Lovely boutique hotel walking distance from town"
Angelica Hotel is built on a traditional stone house with thick stone walls in the part that we stayed in. This meant that no noise could be heard from other customers in any adjacent rooms. The hotel had another building across the path. Our room - ARGO - had a huge balcony with sun loungers, table and 2 chairs - we could see the sea in the distance and the hills. The hotel is set a short walk away from the port and restaurants and we found it very quiet during September. It was lovely seeing the children making their way up to the primary school from our window. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly giving us local advice. The room was had plenty of space and the bed was, in our opinion, very comfortable. All in all, a classy establishment, worthy of an exclusive island and excellent value for money.

"Very large, comfortable suite."
We had contact with Dimitris, the manager, via email a couple of days before arrival. I gave him the arrival time for our ferry, but he wasn't there when we arrived. Had to call him to have him escort us to the hotel. He gave us a very quick tour of our suite, rushing through everything. Our friends' suite wasn't ready when we all arrived. We couldn't believe how lovely the suites were: very large and well-equipped, and very clean. There were various snacks available, as well as a variety of foods, juice and coffee for breakfast. Fresh rolls were delivered every morning. We had trouble operating the coffee makers, but everything else worked fine. The neighborhood was very quiet. We were conveniently located to the harbor area, about a five-minute walk.

"Beautiful hotel with great service"
The hotel balanced an attractive antique feel with modern amenities and cleanliness, with some nice touches like a Nespresso machine in the room, and quality toiletry products. The breakfast was delicious, and could be eaten in a cosy indoor area or a lovely garden with fruit trees. Nothing was too much trouble for Nikos, who ran the hotel - he printed boarding passes, gave us loads of advice on where to go, and even produced an iPhone charging cable when I realised I'd left mine in Athens! A really delightful stay - I'd definitely come back.

"A very elegant and comfortable B&B."
We stayed for just one night in early January. The hotel is a beautiful, impeccably maintained house not far from the harbour in this gorgeous white town. Our ‘studio’ room was in fact large and well-appointed. The proprietor, Hilda, was very helpful and friendly, and provided us with a very good breakfast. For warmer seasons there is an attractive outdoor terrace.

Hydra Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Hydra Island, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Hydra Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
