The staff at this hotel are great, very helpful and always very cheerful. The location is away from the new developments in the "older end of Huntington Beach one block away from Main Street and the pier. The newer developments, shops, restaurants and hotels are a couple of blocks away, in easy walking distance. The hotel has a surfing theme and the rooms are modern and comfortable. My room was at the back of the hotel with no ocean views but it was very quiet with a small balcony that caught the morning sun.

The lobby and hallways were very warm, no a/c. Only 1 of the 3 elevators worked. The room was updated but the paint was chipped and the room lacked. The room felt incomplete. It was a modern design but it felt cheap. The hotel is nicely located, that is why I usually stay here on all my trips to Huntington Beach. But the hotel is not a 5 star hotel.
