I have stayed in Village hotels before and never had problems before however on this occasion the room we were in had a high pitched squeak that happened whenever another room on the floor closed the door. This wasn't a problem during the night however the morning was dreadful. The air conditioning did not work either this was reported but as the hotel was full we couldn't relocate but were provided with a fan. I would stay at the village again but it was a bit disappointing this time.

The young lad on reception was very thorough and helpful. We were given an annexe room with its own parking space. The receptionist walked us to the room.
The room was a triple enquire, a good size, clean and with good facilities.
The bed was very comfortable.
We went for breakfast, but we were late, the staff allowed us to have breakfast.
Overall a comfortable hotel, we will use it again.

"Beuaitufl hotel two minute walk from Leeds Trinity"
I booked the Malmaison because I had work to do in Leeds and got a good deal on room rates. The staff are wonderful and the rooms themselves are beautiful however the beds are like slabs of concrete - for such a large hotel chain you would at least expect comfortable beds.
