"Prime location with 4 beaches on site"
Its not the newest resort, its actually one of the first resorts in Huatulco, this used to be a Club Med. The property is a paradise, so long as you're in average to good shape, physically. The resort is massive, 50 acres on a cliff side, hilly terrain, which means there are a lot of hills and stairs to climb. We loved it! There is a "shuttle" that will ferry you to and from your room if needed. We paid for a Junior Suite which was massive; king bed, 4 man shower, dual sinks, sofa, dining table, and ocean view walk out private balcony. Our room was in the "Mar" or "Sea" section, which is directly east facing so we woke up to a beautiful sunrise out of the ocean every morning. From this section of the hotel to the front lobby it took about 10 minutes to walk, again not for the weak or physically challenged. The resort has its own botanical gardens, 6 restaurants, 4 pools; 1 strictly for adults, and they enforce it! If you're athletic, you'll love it here, there are 12 tennis courts, squash courts, a very good indoor gym, soccer, volleyball, basketball, water polo, and a great selection of water sport activities available; seadoo, kayaks, sail boats, standup paddle. The food in the buffet was very good, everyday there was a different theme like, seafood night, or Italian night, ect. Breakfast buffet was amazing! everything you're used to; eggs, bacon, french toast with cinnamon and maple syrup, pancakes, omelettes made to order.

"Second visit"
We liked this hotel so much two years ago that we stayed there again. It really is lovely, and the people are friendly and helpful. The beds are quite comfortable, there is a safe in the room, the bathrooms are wonderful, everything has been thought of. We stayed in a room with a "plunge pool" so we were right on the beach. They did our laundry in a few hours. The wi-fi is sub-par unless you sit in the front lobby - typical of place in Mexico (and some in the U.S.! ) in our experience. Overall a wonderful, beautiful property.

"Nice property but not on the beach"
Very nice property, very nice pool area. Lovely gardens including a beautiful succulent garden, well-maintained, very tidy. Room was nice, very clean, drinking water available. Food in restaurant was adequate but not great. Snack bar food and service was very good (great burgers, chicken wings and margaritas!) Evening entertainment was mediocre. Beach is about 7 minute walk away, and is not the best beach. Hotel staff was courteous, nice, helpful. The resort has a nice Mexican flavor - many Mexican families visiting so nice to speak Spanish rather than just hearing English like at so many other resorts.

Huatulco is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Huatulco, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Huatulco hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
