"Nice Hotel, comfortable atmosphere "
I completely enjoyed our time at La Isla Hotel! The greatest asset of this hotel is their employees!! They made us feel very welcome and comfortable! We were on a first name basis with several employees who gave us exceptional service!! Value your staff La Isla, they are what make your hotel extraordinary! Gerson, Alexis, Hiram, Francisco, Jaun, Noel, Deysi, Adrian, Oscar, Eleutenio, Letty, and Isario! Food at the beach club was amazing. Bartenders attentive! My only suggestion would be to fix up the bathrooms in the rooms. We had a cracked drain cover and water damage on our ceiling above the shower. Also, house keepers could use a vacuum in order to clean more thoroughly. Other then that, we have no complaints! Cozy atmosphere!

During my two weeks stay I enjoy five star service for 3-star price. Hotel staff is helpful, professional and honest. Hotel location is comfortably close to city center and just few minutes by bus ( 25 US cents/ 4 pesos ) to beautiful and secure beach at Santa Cruz. I enjoy there perfect weather, beauty, and tranquility of the beach, and swimming in warm crystal clear water of Pacific Ocean.

"All around great hotel"
I stayed at Xquenda over the weekend and found it an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything in this town seemed to be within walking distance. The hotel is located yards away from the beach and its numerous club houses. When the sun goes down, there is also a lively bar and a dance club nearby. I like walking down open avenues and Huatulco certainly delivered as the center (Crucecita) was only 20-25 min from the hotel along a nicely shaded and verdant median in the road. However, the staff at Xquenda were always ready to have a taxi at hand (1-2 min away) if that's what you desired. The room's view overlooks a courtyard with the beach just beyond that. The room itself was very comfortable and roomy. The theme seemed to be stone and dark wood in and outside of the room, which only added to the relaxed feel. I couldn't be happier with my stay. Thank you, Xquenda.

"Great staff and swimming beach"
The beach and staff were the highlights of the trip. The water was calm, clear, lots of tropical fish, even saw some mantra and sting rays. Beach servers Martin and Roberto did an exceptional job, worked especially hard. The shuttle drivers were fantastic shout out to Marcelo, Juan, Norberto, Miguel (sorry but we forgot some of the names) Serving staff were very attentive, Javier went above the call of duty and fetched us extra guacamole). Tany the hostess was very friendly and courteous. Many other food servers and sous chefs were great, just can't remember all their names.

"Great Hotel"
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, 4 days for our anniversary/husband's birthday. The included breakfasts were good, coffee was amazing. The pools were nice, the staff was friendly. The only issues that we had was that our shower pressure was very low, and the bed wasn't the easiest to sleep on after having a day of complete activity that was already making my body sore on its own. On our first night, when we hadn't done any activities, the bed was fine. Oh and if you don't do well with stairs let them know that at check in. This is not a hotel with elevators, and we were on the 4th floor. Also, side shout out. We were told by a waitress at the brunch about a gentleman, named Silvano, who does do boat tours to different beaches for a lot less than you can purchase anywhere online. For a private tour we paid 1500 pesos (about $84 usd) and we left at 10:30 am and returned around 5:30 pm. We went to 7 different beaches (at least 3 virgin beaches which you cannot get to by land and must take a boat to), he had fishing poles with which we did some deep sea fishing and caught some fish, and this also included the use of snorkeling gear along with him taking us to see some of the reefs. He also said that if you were alright with him finding other customers for a group tour the cost was about 300 pesos (about $17 usd) and you could rent the snorkeling equipment. It was an absolutely incredible experience.

Huatulco is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Huatulco, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Huatulco hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
