"Too short a stay but we recommend "
We stayed at Palms City Resort before and after a tour of Kakadu. Storing our luggage was no problem. Location is easy walking to the harbour and Mitchell street where the restaurants are. The grounds have a lot of vegetation which is nice for privacy and atmosphere.

"A little out of the way but worth the effort. "
It was a trip I didn't really want to make but this resort made it enjoyable. The young lady in reception could not have been more helpful or more pleasant to deal with.

"Good price, close to the airport "
We originally got keys to a room that already had someone else booked in. They were not impressed when we tried to open the door, however we got upgraded to a bigger, more secluded room which was great! For us! Thank you to the hotel staff who were more than accommodating in this instance! Breakfast was definitely overpriced and the coffe machine had a malfunction and overflowed during our breakfast. On a positive we were allowed to check in a lot earlier which was helpful due to our flight times. And the staff had the best customer service

"Fancy and ideal hostel to stay in the CBD"
This is the third hostel that I have been lived in Darwin CBD, compare to the previous two hostel, Crocodilly has more appropriate price, which actually is the cheapest one atm, the hostel facilities are quite new, every room has own bathroom and refrigerator. They have a nice pool as well, so far it's extremely clean and deep enough as i noticed. To regard with the staff here, a thai lady who is enthusiastic about her job and very friendly to everyone. Manager is a reliable person as well, always looking after backpackers‘ safety...

"Nice Hotel, Great Location"
We booked into the Vibe Hotel because our NT tour was leaving and returning from there. We found the reception staff to be pleasant and the entrance foyer was neat and clean. Our room was ready early. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only problem I found was the shower over the bath, which meant climbing in; not easy for seniors. Otherwise, the hotel was near the Wave Lagoon, a free swim beach area, Stokes Hill Wharf and the city centre, accessed by a lift in front of the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the Vibe has Curve Cafe with breakfast on the run for $9.95 to full breakfast options.

"Location and Value for Money"
This hotel I thought had great value for money; I booked the two bedroom non serviced unit. There was two bathrooms, balcony as well which was nice. The pros were: nice spacious room. Room condition was nice. 5-10 minute walk to entertainment areas in the city. Restaurant there is really good. Beds are comfy. Cons: Our air conditioner in the lounge room/kitchen did not work and would only get fixed when we left as there was no repairers available, however there was an air conditioner in each bedroom and the whole unit didn't seem that warm. Also the staff gave myself and my brother (who was in the other bedroom) free breakfast every day which definitely made up for this. Also the bedroom which wall is connected to the outside hall has a window which means you can see in and out of that bedroom if the curtains aren't closed, which I though was really odd. Even when the curtains were closed at night the room was bright, this is probably the most annoying aspect of staying here. Overall I greatly enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Howard Springs is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Howard Springs, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Howard Springs hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
