The Eden Hall Inn - Charlottetown Hotels
Rating: 3.5 Stars

The Eden Hall Inn

12 West St, Charlottetown - Map
"Not quite as advertised."
The Eden Inn is in a great location and walking distance to everything downtown Charlottestown offers. If you are looking for a pedestrian styled getaway, then this place is great. On the downside, breakfast was disappointing. Bagels, yogurt, orange juice were all advertised but not offered. When we asked why, we were told that those items were only offered during peak/summer season. Seemed a strange answer given the hotel was completely full for the duration of our stay. Also, coffee cups seemed to run out halfway through breakfast most mornings. When we informed the staff (because we did want a coffee with our breakfast) - we were told that they were all dirty, and hadn't yet been clean. We were puzzled that no one would then go wash some of the used ones and bring them back out for us to use. These were only little things, but there were a few of them, which added up and prevented us from giving the hotel a 4 or 5 star rating.

The Great George

58 Great George St, Charlottetown - Map
"Well appointed boutique hotel with many extras. "
Ch'town in the winter has its challenges with outdoor parking, especially after a night of ice and snow. The Great George staff cleaned all the cars in their outdoor parking, imagine what an early morning treat that was on our stay! The only helpful upgrades would be a few high definition tv channels for the sport lovers.

"Convenient location"
The Charlottetown is always such a wonderful place to stay when I'm in town for meetings. The location is perfect and the staff is always so helpful. My husband and I were able to spend some time relaxing on the roof top deck on a beautiful afternoon. What a view!

"Relaxing hotel by the sea"
From the moment my wife and I booked our reservation the staff were excellent. Contacting us to see if we had any special requests or requirements. Check in was friendly and quick. The hotel is not modern, there are no TV's or telephones in the room. Dalvay By the Sea is a beautiful period hotel, with great food. We had a wonderful weekend.

Charlottetown Inn & Conference Centre

"Close to downtown attractions and restaurants."
Great location. Confusing entrance, with one of the door locked. Older building which looks like it has gone through numerous renovations. One of the hallways was rather stale, but our room was fine. Bed was comfortable and linen fresh. Noisy air/ventilation system. Wonderful breakfast, although staff was slow to replenish empty dishes. Great value in all. We got what we expected for the price. Although, someone else's bill was slipped under our door... thought we had to pay for two nights. Just an error.

Super 8 Charlottetown PE

15 York Point Road, Cornwall - Map
The hotel was quite satisfactory. However, there were several dozen kids (hockey teams) lodged on the place, and they were noisy! We could bear with that (having been Scout leaders for many years), but when several of the men (fathers? coaches?) stood in the hall right outside our door and talked very loudly while we were trying to rest, it became annoying. They finally left after about 45 minutes - just as we had decided to complain.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
