The hotel was easy to find. Front desk lady was very nice.
The room was nice and clean but the bathroom needed a renovation. The toilet flushed itself a couple times which kinda freaked me out the first time. I think it had something to do with the room on the other side of me flushing theirs.
There was no elevator which sucks if you have lots of things to bring in from your vehicle or can't do stairs.

we usually have no issues with hotels we book, but this one didn't get off to a great start, or finish for us. The toilet was not cleaned (actually it was pretty gross) when we got into our room, which I assume it accidently got forgotten about by whoever cleaned it since the rest of the hotel room was very clean. I let the front desk staff know and it was cleaned right away, which was great. We went to Jasper for the rest of the evening and just wanted to sleep when we got back to the hotel just after 9 pm. We had the people above us (likely a family)making so much noise, kids running around their room so it was loud enough neither of us could fall asleep. I let the front desk know, and she said she would talk to them. The family kept on making too much noise, so I went to the front desk in person, and asked if it was okay to just get a different room as the family obviously didn't get the hint. They lady on staff was great, and moved us to a quiet room. It was such a huge difference, we didn't hear any of our neighbors! We checked out the next morning and after we left, unfortunately my spouse realized he left the hood of his north face jacket in the hotel room. I called in a panic telling them what had happened, they had someone check both rooms we were in, but nothing came up and they said they would check again when the cleaners go on a break, in the end it wasn't found.

We had a room that was facing the mountains. It was great being able to open the curtain and see mountains. There was a trail beside the hotel, though I ran out of time and was not able to walk it. I did not use the exercise equipment nor did I use the hot tub. I found that it would be awkward working out if someone was in the hot tub since they were so close, but it wasn't a big deal. The only complaint I have about the room was that the fireplace wasn't working and my room did not get cleaned (I stayed 2 nights) during our stay. Perhaps I put the sign on the door too late.
I found it quite odd that the staff cleaning the rooms (as I saw them when I was walking to my car) were not uniformed. They were essentially in pjs. I thought they were a guest grabbing extra towels off the cart until I saw her grab the vacuum as well.
Food in hinton was good, we ate at L&W. I would recommend going there. Lastly, if the hotel staff read this, our room (204) had razors and an empty beer can on the landing area thingy above the bath tub, you may want to clear that off.
