Had a great experience - first time staying at Hotel Les Mars and was pleasantly surprised. The feel of the hotel really blends into the space in the city and surrounding shops and businesses. Walkable to just about anything in Healdsburg. Great for couples / romantic getaways...

We were pleased with the cleanliness and quality of our room. We stayed in the older wing while our friends stayed in the new Tuscan Plaza addition. We thought our room was far superior to theirs even though they had a fireplace. I would not want anyone to have access to my room from an open patio. We are glad we chose the older wing. The breakfast arrangement is absolutely wonderful with very cheerful and helpful staff. The only thing we wished we had was access to a community room with card table like tables to play cards in the evening. We were told the breakfast room was locked and not available after breakfast. What a waste of space. the tables would have been perfect. the low slung coffee tables elsewhere were useless. If it hadn't been storming outdoors, and a season warmer, we could have played outdoors in the patio.

These are beautiful cottages and we would like to leave the better review had -- it not been for the linens. We booked our stay for ourselves and our two children. It was listed as having a pull out bed, which it did, but there were no linens available for it. There was a seriously stained pillow and comforter in the armoire (ick), but no sheets or comforter cover. We only learned this when late that night we went to make the bed. This is unacceptable, especially for a four-star rated hotel. I would recommend that you require new linens if you book this.

"Lovely B&B within walking distance to Healdsburg s"
This B&B was a great find! It's very close to all the shops, restaurants and wine tasting rooms on and around the square. The hosts, Karen and John, were wonderfully hospitable. John is a fabulous chef. The breakfasts are definately a 'do not miss' meal. Also, the pizza he makes from scratch on Fridays for the Wine Hour is delicious. We plan on staying there again when we visit Healdsburg in the future.

We had a great stay. It was nice and quiet and we walked to everything. Our room was dated and could use an update but everything worked. There was a kitchen but not much for cooking utensils so a meal would be difficult to prepare. So we ended up with wine a cheese plates, not all bad. Nice deck on the room but we were there in the winter so a little cool.

Came to Healdsburg as we were winding down Pacific NW road trip. The room (with balcony deck) in the annex bldg was really fine. Had dinner at the inn and the food was excellent. However, one small drawback - there was no coffee maker in the room and no coffee service/bar in the annex (though coffee in the morning could be had by walking across parking lot to main building. Oh well....

Conveniently close to more than 100 wineries and tasting rooms, Healdsburg is a wine-lover’s paradise. Its quaint downtown is its own attraction, with antique shops, boutiques, coffee houses, tasting rooms, and restaurants. Healdsburg’s location on the Russian River, surrounded by rolling hills covered in vineyards and pastures, also make it popular for cycling, golfing, and kayaking.
