This is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The bed and breakfast rate was excellent value and the free on site parking an added bonus. The hotel entertainment was more suited to older guests and, despite our room being very comfortable and clean, we were woken by guests in the room next door due to the walls being very thin. Wished we had packed earplugs.

Stayed for one night in room 6 which was a little dated but had all the amenities needed for a short stay.
Twin beds were comfy and clean, the bathroom had plenty of hot water and was also clean with soap and shampoo supplied.
The room also contained Yorkshire tea, coffee, cookies and a bottle of water plus it also housed a small fridge, small microwave oven and free Wifi.
All in all a very reasonably priced venue in nice surroundings.
We didn't have a meal there but again the previous comments were good and prices were reasonable for both the carvery and the breakfasts.
Room 6 was in a motel styled ground floor, easy access.

Within easy walking distance of the Turkish Baths, the theatre, and other special places in Harrogate. Not a fancy place but clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. I agree that information about the hotel should make it clearer that you need to book a parking place, but once booked the parking is easy and convenient - a bargain at £5 for the afternoon and evening. I paid another £5 for breakfast - also a very good deal. I would stay there again - just right for travellers who want to spend their time and money in the town and don't want to pay too much for accommodation.
