"Great all round"
Very comfortable hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean with plenty of wardrobe space and good facilities. Beds were really comfortable and I got 2 really good night's sleep but bed may be a bit too soft if you like a firm mattress. Breakfast choice was excellent and everything well cooked and hot. Used the pool, did aqua aerobics session and had a pedicure. Spa staff all lovely and friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Plenty of shopping around at hedge end and in Southampton. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this hotel.

"A bit passed its sell by date"
The room was very clean, spacious and had everything you would expect. The staff were very polite and attentive. However, the outside of the building is looking a little the worse for wear. It could do with some investment to fill the multitude of visible cracks in the outside of the building, especially at the back, and give it a lick of paint. The garden walls/steps and concrete features in the garden are in a bad state of repair and could do with replacing/repairing as it makes it look as though the hotel just wants your money and not willing to invest. Overall, it didn't spoil our stay.

"Nice hotel, village, staff, a confused breakfast"
Nice hotel and room in a lovely village. The staff were also generally friendly. But the breakfast is a bit confused. For some reason they couldn't seem to make scrambled eggs on toast it - it took three attempts and still wasn't right. I think it was something to do with the toast being part of the buffet and eggs a la cart. But overall a nice stay and am happy to recommend it.

"Beautiful, Quiet Country Hotel"
We had a one night stay at this lovely hotel. We stayed in the court yard and our room was a nice size, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The chocolates left on the side and the shortbread with the tea and coffee were both a nice touch. The place was really quiet and had lovely grounds to wander around. Staff throughout the hotel couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, a real credit! The only downside was the breakfast, I ordered eggs Benedict and my eggs were rock hard and the bagel they were served on was burnt. We got down there just after 9am and by that time there wasn't a lot left on the continental section, we also waited a long time for tea and coffee. Apart from that small issue we had a lovely stay.

"Comfortable Hotel"
Hotel was extremely comfortable. Swimming pool was small but had good depth to it. Showers only at the side of the pool so had to go back to the room to wash hair etc. Neither of the changing rooms male or female had a shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay but were a little disappointed by the leisure facilities.

Hampshire is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Hampshire, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Hampshire hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
