The Asperion Hillside was just what we were looking for. The staff were friendly and professional, the whole hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and the food was really good. There were only two improvements we would suggest. A second mirror, positioned in the bedroom is needed, and some coat hooks for outdoor garments would be useful. We will definitely wish to stay here again and recommend it to others.

"Good location for Guilford and the Surrey hills."
It is hard to grade this hotel as it is having a lot of work done to it, areas are not complete including the room we were staying in. I am sure in 2 to 3 months time it will improve and look very smart. Would I stay here again? Yes I would, but
after the work has been finished.

Fit for purpose, not luxurious but cheap and in a great location. The room was very quiet considering it was above a pub, I didn't hear any noise from below at all. The heating was good, you can turn it off and there's a real window that opens wide. The bathroom was fully tiled and the shower worked well.
Nothing was top of the range and if you were a nit-picker there were faults to be found but I thought it was great value and ideal for a one night stay.

We stayed at this b&b for 2 nights to visit the university of Surrey. It was magical to see sheep in the hills, deer in the woods. The room was comfortable and English breakfast lovingly prepared & served in the morning.

Guildford is a hotbed of history, performance art, and culture in southeast England. The final resting place of Lewis Carroll, this Surrey town was home to his family and provided inspiration for the “Alice in Wonderland” author. Outdoor markets draw weekend crowds and a monthly farmers market features the best in local produce. Guided garden and mansion tours are also popular with visitors.
