We arrived early (11:00am), figured we'd stop by to see if we could get early check in (which was at 3PM) and was pleasantly surprised when they told us they had two rooms ready for us!. Could use a little updating, but it was clean and the bed was comfy! They had a great breakfast the next morning (scrambled eggs, French toast, home fries, bacon, sausage, cereals, muffins, pastry, assorted juices and coffee. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

It's affordable and the room is comfortable. But, the beds are a size full. The wall paper was peeling off. The breakfast room tunnel had chipped tile and smelled funny. The concierge always seems annoyed. The pool area has seen better days. They get upset when you order pool towels and the pool has to much chlorine. I'm grateful for the free breakfast, however it is a carb redundancy. Why come? Because the area is decent. Good parking. Pillows are great. Room is decent. And if your on a budget, you can stand the other things one or twice if you can't afford $190 a night.

You paid $50 bucks got a clean, bright safe room. The sheets were crisp and bathroom spotless. Things like mismatched fixtures and hurry up paint repairs are what you should expect at this price. Staff was wonderful, polite quick and helpful. This is the definition of good value for money spent

Often referred to as the submarine capital of the world, Groton is home to the Naval Submarine Base. At the Submarine Force Museum visitors can tour the USS Nautilus, the Navy’s first nuclear-powered submarine. History buffs may want to visit Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park, the site where traitorous Benedict Arnold led British forces against during the Revolutionary War.
