"Close to downtown. "
Nice hotel but dining options were not as good as other casinos in the area. Buffet was good but they need to do a better job controlling the cigarette smoke as we could even smell it there too.

"Not far from downtown and in a nice area."
Huge older hotel with an updated lobby (not rooms) in Dearborn. It is a nice drive down Michigan Ave. to downtown. Quiet. It sits across from a mall if you don't want room service, although the omelet I had from room service was great! Good price for a 3 out of 5 stay.

"Location and Comfort in Detroit"
A native of Detroit who was present for most of its transformation from beautiful to wretched, now, as a seldom visitor, it's a thrill to see beautiful returning. The Inn is located in a neighborhood I would have shunned not many years ago but now most visitable, safe, and brimming with life of many residents, a good number of whom probably work in the very nearby downtown. Getting downtown to view the amazing changes is extraordinarily easy, whether one chooses to walk passing by the sports center and entertainment hub of the city or take the handy new train a two block walk away from the Inn. Or one can ride it uptown to visit the cultural center: Wayne State, Institute of Arts, Public Library. Great architecture in both directions. Staff was welcoming, informative, and obliging. We were the only guests there that evening, though the 16 or so rooms were going to be full the following night, but there was enough very well prepared and available food and drinks for a pleasant Continental breakfast, and no need to wait for breakfast times to serve oneself from the cupboards, refrigerator, and kitchen counters. We'll be back!!

"A good hotel"
The hotel was in good condition. The staff were friendly and answered my questions about the area. The room was good. The beds were comfortable. It was a nice quiet location close to stores and restaurants. The breakfast was good. There was two hot foods and plenty of muffins and doughnuts and fresh fruit.

"Riverfront View Hotel in Detroit, MI"
(1) Check in process for others was quite challenging due to issues the hotel was experiencing with staffing on the day of my arrival. My check in experience was fine though I had paid for 2 nights and the system only registered 1. (2) The beds, mattresses, coverings and pillows need to be updated and replaced. Resorts are expected to be comfortable. I did not sleep comfortably despite my exhaustion. Owners/management should check in for a few days themselves. (3) Wasn't able to try the restaurant because it was closed during the week and your only option was to head out for dinner or order from local restaurants that would deliver but then when I went to pick up my own food to eat on their patio, management expressed an issue with me doing so. They eventually agreed to allow myself and my guests to have our meal in the patio area facing the riverfront view but that experience was very disappointing when there were no other options available. Other than that, I did not have any other negative experiences at the hotel. I only booked there because my usual choices were sold out so between the choice of the over expensive Renaissance or the Robert's, I decided to try the Robert's Riverwalk Hotel to support a smaller African-American owed establishment. They need better staffing all around, including the front desk area. The general areas were clean with the exception of the patio area. Someone should regularly pick up garbage left in the area.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Greektown Historic District hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
