Great hotel, most of the staff great.
Just had issue with construction in our room. After our arrival in the afternoon we heard construction right outside, difficult to rest. Slept the first night there, but woken up with the construction work early next day. So we asked for a change in room. Front desk girl was not happy at all to help out. We were moved to a new room, much smaller, which is not what we paid for.
But in general, the hotel is great. Clean, comfortable and in a great and safe location.

Nice modern hotel! Great pool and breakfast items. Quiet and large rooms with beautiful views of Guadalajara. Also have a great bar and restaurant options inside of the hotel. Rooms service food was delicious.
Only downside is that I purchased a breakfast included deal with Expedia and they did not have in their system that breakfast was included, they said it happens a lot when purchasing not directly through them (which isn't my fault, or my problem to fix) I don't know if they will ever come to want to fix this glitch but from speaking with them about it... it seems like they choose to do nothing about it.
Also it isn't in an area where you can just walk outside and go somewhere, you pretty much have to take a taxi if you want to go anywhere - which their taxis are cheap so maybe not that big of a deal.

"Very nice Colonial style hotel, need remodel asap"
Very nice mexican hacienda style hotel, beautiful grounds, Food and service are very good but rooms are disappointing. They feel dated, old and worn out, they need a remodel ASAP., specially the bathrooms. Hotel doesn't have a spa and pool is very little.

Situated in the central region of Jalisco, Guadalajara is a major commercial center, as well as a hub for visitors to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Manzanillo. With its rich cultural heritage, festivals, and vibrant artist community, the city is also a major tourist destination in its own right.
