"Great hotel, good location"
I was hesitant about the Republic location as it is between Bastille and Gare du Nord, both areas with questionable reputation. The Republic area turned out to be great and a major metro hub, with a 3 minute walk to the hotel. The Louvre and Notre Dame are both 2km away; if you choose to walk, the path leads through the Marais, one of the nicer and more interesting districts of Paris. The hotel itself delivers on every point: renovated rooms, friendly and helpful staff, nice continental breakfast. They go out of their way to make you feel special.

From 1st minute of our arrival we were greeted with very kind gentleman by the name of Leo which he went out of his way to given us out most state of comfort by changing our room to what we liked, recommends to us the wonderful Parisian restaurants near, bed comfort, hotel amenits, brand name hair & body care, state of art down stairs gym & sauna, free movies and most of all availability of drinks snacks deserts at the hotel lobby which I've only seen in 5 stars Vegas hotel lounge... I've been in Paris many many times and I never seen anything like this... Wonderful job Hotel De Séze & thank you So much...

"Nice hotel in lovely area."
We found the Hotel Le Mareuil to be a lovely boutique hotel in the a superb location. The decor was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable and larger than the typical European Hotel room. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and gave us some very good recommendations for local eateries.

"A lovely not-too-expensive hotel."
I have stayed at the Richmond Opera Hotel several times. The staff is very nice. The place has old-world charm, extremely comfortable beds, a phone for international use in the rooms, coffee as well in the rooms. There are chandeliers in each room and interesting decor. The location is fine; you can walk just about anywhere on the right bank, and shops, restaurants, and cafes fill the surrounding area. The Hotel is quiet and safe. I will stay here again. The carpets are a bit worn, but I think that is the only weakness from my point of view. I am not a fan of sterile American-style hotels.

"Quiet, friendly, comfortable, in a great location"
We stayed here for a few nights while we explored Paris for the first time. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We most appreciated how quiet it was at night, despite being very centrally located, and a very convenient 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord. We also greatly appreciated the A/C, since Paris can be a sweat-fest in the summer time. Breakfast was adequate, if a little uninspiring and pricey at 14 euros each (but then, it IS Paris). The neighborhood was ideal - with lots of places to grab a bite or a drink very nearby, and the Metro only two minutes away. Staff were very friendly and professional, and amazingly tolerant of our terrible French (we mostly just spoke English, to our shame). It was particularly great to have the breakfast lounge available to us at all hours, so we could chill out there, grab a cup of tea, and/or eat a take-out picnic when we couldn't afford another sit-down dinner. The only issues we encountered were (a) the bath leaked, so we had to mop up a small flood each time we took a shower, and (b) our air conditioner randomly started making very loud noises on our final day, waking us up during our final night. These were pretty minor issues though, and we'd definitely stay here again.

"Charming Hotel in a Great Location"
We arrived late and the hotel had organized a car service to pick us up at the airport. The driver was on time inside and waiting for us...made for a easy transition for a late night arrival! Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by the front desk who gave us maps and highlighted the specific areas interest. The room was modern and well air conditioned! The staff was available for any assistance and super friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
