"Beautiful Hotel"
It is a beautiful hotel. When you open the window in the morning you have a great view on the canal. Having breakfast on the front dock is more beautiful. The only cons in this hotel. That is the opposite side of the most knowing activites and the shops. They offer only two going free shuttles 8:00am and 8:30 pm and one coming back shuttle 11pm. Thats it

"Outstanding and conveniently located hotel."
A lovely, small, well-appointed hotel, located on the Grand Canal, convenient for St Marks, the Rialto Bridge, La Fenice and the Academia, right by the San Angelo water stop. Not that any of this will prevent you getting lost! I immediately felt at home and the whole ambiance was relaxed in what is a very busy city.

"Great location"
Hotel was ok, but quite noisy, rooms could do with tea/coffee facilities, did find out reception would have gave us a kettle on the day we were leaving, bed was slightly uncomfortable due to being 2 single pushed together, was unable to open the French doors for any air, and our view was of across the alley, arm span away, of people's shutters. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very polite and helpful, even down to printing our boarding passes off for us.

"Right Across from The Train Station"
We walked out of the train station and crossed the foot bridge to the left to the other side of the canal. It was a short walk, but the bridge is steep, with a lot of steps, so take your time. There are a lot of fellows with 2 wheel carts offering to help you, but be careful. The couple who came to the hotel after us we distracted by a cart guy, had the woman's purse stolen. We have traveled overseas before, and know enough to keep our personal items secure in crowds. The hotel is very nice, clean, and in a great location. We were greeted at the desk by Gionni, who put my Dad and son in a very nice room on the forth floor. He then offered a free upgrade for my wife's and my room to a canopy bed suite. The room is in the next building, down a walk through alley. We accepted the upgrade, and we were delighted by the spacious room, upgraded bathroom and shower, and the canopy bed. The view was only into the alley, but we enjoyed watching people walking below. There was always a pleasant breeze from the open windows into the room. The free breakfast was good and plentiful. The serving staff kept the buffet clean and well stocked, and would quickly provide cups of "American coffee" to our table. The entire staff was great, always there to provide information and advice. Gionni was exceptionally nice, and took the time to tell us all about Venice and the area. He even gave us information regarding the cruise ship and ship's terminal. Next trip, we will stay here again.

"Beautiful! Great location"
The hotel was gorgeous! Room was VERY spacious. I stayed in basic double room. Had a separate sitting room, very big marble bathroom. No coffee in room though. Check in clerk was not very pleasant, but others seemed friendly.

"Excellent staff. Unique rooms"
Staff was willing to answer questions and we're willing to do about anything. The day we checked out they kept our bags for us while we went around town. And they called in reservations for a restaurant at night. Right after we booked they emailed directions of exactly how to get to them. Awesome.

"Fabulous Hotel"
Gorgeous hotel, right on the Grand Canal, worthy of a Honeymoon. Located right next to the bus station and water taxi, could not have asked for a more perfect location. Everything was perfect. Our room was beyond fabulous, huge and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was breathtaking. The view from our room looked out over the Grand Canal. The breakfast was spectacular. We would definitely stay here again, was one of the nicest stays anywhere.

Grand Canal is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Grand Canal, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Grand Canal hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
