"Beautiful central hotel"
Great hotel in a beautiful old building I had a room on the front with a balcony but which wasn't at all noisy The hotel is really well located to reach the Metro & walk to all the attractions The staff were great too. Every morning I was met at breakfast by a lovely smiling waitress & the girl working in the bar in the evening was really smiley, chatty & pleasant. The staff really make the hotel, I wish I had got their names to say thank you Highly recommend this hotel

"Central Hotel with Old World Charm "
Stayed for 6 nights March 2017. Room on 5th floor facing Grand Via. Did not use the Breakfast Room and the Roof Top Bar was not open as it was early season. Initially the hotel looks very grand but it does need a little updating. Bar and breakfast prices very expensive Hotel very central for underground stations, shops and galleries

"This is our 6th stay at this hotel - Good location"
European rooms tend to be small but at the Vincci Capital the rooms are good sized. The furnishings are adequate - but the beds a bit stiff for many. Stiff beds are my preference. The fake wood flooring is slippery and many rooms put two beds together to form a king. Because the beds slip on the floors easily, I have found myself falling in the crack between the beds frequently as the beds slide apart. If you pay for a king bed, make sure you get a king bed. The staff is friendly and the breakfast a reasonable value for Madrid. Free internet is about 2.5 Mbps and for me, was reliable in 4/6 times we have stayed at this hotel.

"Absolutely Fantastic!"
Gorgeous, modern, spotless apartment in the best location in Madrid. Very comfortable beds and sleeper sofa. This apartment appears to be brand new. Directly on Gran Via with amazing view of the Spanish "Times Square". Easy walk to old town and presidential palace. Wish we could have stayed longer (or found it sooner) but so glad we were able to spend two nights here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds super comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked. Hope to come back again!!

"Classy hotel in Madrid"
Great location and lovely, quirky hotel decorated very tastefully and beautifully clean. Loved the camper van on the roof terrace. Breakfast delicious and really friendly, helpful staff. Only downside was restocking of refreshments in the room. Had to ask for coffee capsules, and after day one, no bottle of water left. Nevertheless, a really lovely hotel.

"Great Hotel and Location"
We were very pleased with this hotel, would recommend it, and would return if were again in Madrid. (We had a superior room so we could have an outside window.) Comments: -spacious and attractive room; great bathroom, although shower control was difficult to adjust in our room -very clean and comfortable -we walked to everything we visited from here and the neighbourhood itself was vibrant and eclectic. -the rooftop patios were beautiful, along with the views; the lobby/lounge area was pleasant and unique -the front desk staff were OUTSTANDING - very pleasant, and went of their way to help when we had a request or needed help. Our only recommendation would be to invest in an ice machine!!! It's not that Spaniards and most other travellers don't drink...,,, We thought Praktik Metropol was well priced, given the location and quality of rooms. Thank you for making our visit to your beautiful city even more enjoyable.

"Nice hotel close the central Madrid"
Hotel was easy to reach from the airport, very central. Staff were welcoming on arrival. Room was a little small, but clean, comfortable and the bathroom had good amenities. Not much on offer for evening meal, but close to plenty of restaurants. Breakfast was nice, lots of choice. Overall, happy with the hotel and would stay again.

Gran Via Street is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Gran Via Street, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Gran Via Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
