The hotel is located in a prime location right on Madrid's main shopping street - Gran Via. Another reason we chose the hotel was the building - is one of the most important historical buildings on Gran Via. If you book a room, worth booking one with a view to Gran Via.
The room was clean and had a good size. We enjoyed the features of the room and all the amenities. The hotel however needs a little more maintenance. Even in our room there were places where the maintenance team could have done some work. Even thou were minor things, in a 4 star hotel there are unacceptable. But this did not spoil our experience overall.
The staff is friendly and if you require something they are happy to provide to you.
The hotel has a small reception area, but this is compensated by their glass lifts. I really enjoyed this feature. On the 7th floor you can also access the terrace - you have a great view over the city and you can enjoy a cocktail. :)

Known as the street that never sleeps, Gran Via is one of Madrid’s main shopping and entertainment districts and a hub of the city’s nightlife. Bordered on one end by the grand Cibeles fountain and at the other by the stately Plaza de España, the wide boulevard is lined with stunning examples of early-20th-century architecture.
