Excellent hotel, location is perfect with lots of local Tapas bars and great access to all transport for Bernabeau, parks etc Roof top terrace superb for an evening beer with great ambience. Breakfast could maybe have a bit more choice but overall a great stay!

Hotel Opera's location is privileged, steps from the metro station, the Theater Real de la Opera and the Royal Palace. The accommodations are updated, clean and elegant.
The hotel's best asset is Daniel, manager or jefe de recepcion, who knows everything there is to know and made our experience in Madrid a very enjoyable one.

Booked 2 rooms for 1 night at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Madrid- we had a scheduled flight the next day but wished we could extend our stay further. The hotel is close to museums, touristy and shopping areas. The hotel staff are exceptional, they provided top notch personalised service from the moment we stepped in. We were offered drinks while we waited to check in then arrived the rooms to find a nice welcome letter and lollies. The rooms were a little bit small but very clean and well designed. A few minutes later, we were sent fruit plates and juice. A bit later we were sent water and chocolate. We decided to walk to Reina Sofia museum and asked the staff for help - they were very helpful and provided a map and directions around the city and pointed out other areas of interest. They were also trailing a portable wifi device and we were given one to take with us - which meant we were connected to the internet throughout our stay.

Known as the street that never sleeps, Gran Via is one of Madrid’s main shopping and entertainment districts and a hub of the city’s nightlife. Bordered on one end by the grand Cibeles fountain and at the other by the stately Plaza de España, the wide boulevard is lined with stunning examples of early-20th-century architecture.
