The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

This was a beautiful hotel. Right in the heart of it all. The staff where friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend it for your stay in Salzburg. So pretty being on the water and so close to the bridge to walk over to Old Town.

Booking in was quick and efficient. Room was very comfortable and spacious (but we had been upgraded to a room with a sofa bed for a third person). We were lucky to have one of the rooms with a small balcony. The bedroom was exceedingly quiet as all the rooms had a double door to the corridor.
The public rooms were a disappointment and looked very dated. Unusually, the reception desk and bar closed at 10pm. After this, you had to let yourself in the front door using your room key.
All the staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.
We found the hotel very central for transport around Salzburg and convenient for the railway station. Most of the time we walked to/from Salzburg centre.

This clean and comfortable hotel was located near bus stops to the train station and airports. It is a short walk across the bridge into the old section of Salzburg. The front desk was helpful and suggested a great restaurant, told us where to park our rental car and found a solution for the only problem that arose. (The problem: We were supposed to get a rollaway in our room one night and despite a reminder phone call arrived at 11:30 P.M. to find no extra bed. We we had to move rooms which was not ideal but it was a quick solution.) There is a lounge with free coffee and tea after 11 am. A nice touch and a place to unwind. The breakfast has many offerings in a pretty, sun filled room. The first day we didn't eat there but realized it was quite a deal for 15 Euros. Would stay here again and recommend it.
