After a few "misses" during our Scotland tour, we decided to check in a day early and spend two nights here rather than the planned one night. BEST decision we made and best two days of our 11 day trip. Roger and his staff have thought of every little detail. The house itself is spectacular, and having stayed at many first class resorts, we have never been in a nicer suite. The surrounding area offers scenery and activities that we enjoyed far more than our time on Skye. We will be back, but for more than just two nights!

This place looks a little bland on the outside, but is really great on the inside. cosy, clean and comfy. I think the food was superb, although chef did give me a steak medium/ well rather than Medium rare, quickly rectified. I must give a shout out to Julia Webb, she was absolutely superb, so nice, so accommodating, and even with our slightly odd (OCD) requests was happy to look after us.
The bathroom, although beautifully done, did lack power in the shower department (room 115) I did notify reception.
There was also a (I'm sure unavoidable) blinking light on the smoke detector, which kept me up a few hours :/
Due to the lack of power in the shower we took a little longer than expected to get ready, so were late for breakfast, I really wished Julia was around again for breakfast service, the lady on was short, disinterested and really didn't give us the service we had expected. the salmon and scrambled eggs were pretty good though - shame that I couldn't request a slice of toast, or some fresh pepper to go with it as she had GONE. I think the breakfast chef needs to crank it up a notch, he didn't know how to do scrambled eggs without dairy (hint, it's the same, just add a little more oil, 2 table spoons of water).
I'd highly recommend this place. 100% would go again.

This guesthouse was everything we could have asked for: kind, informative owners, clean room and good breakfast. There were even some novels on the landing outside our room that we could help ourselves to.

Although some miles from major centres, the Holly Tree makes up for this by having an excellent restaurant - Seafood mainly but enough choice to suit others - and caring, friendly, staff. Our stay at the Holly Tree has been the highlight of our holiday and we (reluctantly) recommend it to anyone travelling in the Oban/Glencoe/Fort William area. (We're only reluctant because it was hard enough to get in there and we've probably made it even harder to get a room now by recommending it!).
The rooms, restaurant and bar all face out over Loch Linnhe and present beautiful and ever-changing views as the light moves through the day and evening.

Everything about this place was lovely and refreshing. The breakfast was delicious and featured the best poached egg I've had in quite a long time! Cheers to Tobey for that. Room was wonderful and decorated beautifully, and the bathroom was very clean and had great hot water, which was a very welcome change for us after our last place! Would highly recommend this lovely B&B!

Good location close to town and facilities, easy to find with good parking.
Traditional relaxing décor throughout the hotel
Room was decent size, clean and comfortable with all required facilities.
Didn't use bar or restaurant due to my work, but food smelled very enticing.
Fitness room provided enough options to avoid queues and pool looked inviting. Told there are additional options, such as Spinning Class, but can't confirm.
Plan to return when next working in the area.
Considered room cost to be fair.

As one of the most famous Highland Glens, Glencoe is one of the area's biggest draws. The striking landscape is the perfect backdrop to a peaceful getaway, where visitors can roam the rolling hills or stumble across a hidden beach along the coast. Hiking and climbing enthusiasts flock to the valley before heading to Fort William and tackling Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the British Isles.
