The hotel was in a great location, we were very happy that our room was ready when we arrived early. The room was spacious, clean and have everything we needed for our trip. We made use of the bar in the evening and even though they were busy we were served quickly. Checkout team were very helpful, stored our bags, helped us find train times and ordered us a taxi to the station. All in all great hotel. :)

From the moment we arrived, to the time we left the hotel staff were absolutely lovely. A great welcome, and always smiling and very friendly, especially Andre. The hotel was both very grand and very cosy at the same time. Breakfast was excellent, with so much choice. The room was large and comfortable. A great location. Loved this hotel and will definitely return.

The hotel looked really nice in pictures but when we arrived we were a bit disappointed. We were informed the main elevator was broken and we had to use the service elevator which smelled pretty bad. The room was ok however it was lacking some newer features such as a USB charger (we had to use the tv) and the couch in the room looked like it could use a shampoo. While I was aware that the breakfast was extra, the hotel charged us $18 euro per person for a simple breakfast. With the exchange right it was a very expensive breakfast for what was offered, we had 15 minutes to eat before we had to leave and I was a bit shocked when I received the bill as nowhere did it say that breakfast would cost this much. We would have waited and eaten at the airport. We stayed at much better hotels where the breakfast was included.

Our stay was very short but what a great place.
The owners run the hotel and they are very welcoming. We wished we could have stayed a few days but were limited due to our business schedule.
Wouldn't think twice about booking it the next time we are visiting Belgium.

The heart and soul of Ghent is the picture-perfect, car-free Old Town. Tour boats ply the Lys River, with the medieval guild houses of Graslei and Korenlei streets casting their reflections upon the placid waters. St. Bavo's Cathedral houses the magnificent Lamb of God altarpiece, painted by the van Eyck brothers in the 1400s. The Gravensteen Castle, built in the 1100s, is another must-see.
