This is a lovely hotel and the ambience is better than a four star . The staff was friendly and welcoming. They had a wonderful Welness Center and although small, it was terrific The workout facility was basic, but comfortable and had the necessary equipment. The location was amazing, only a short walk to the center of town. The only downside was that they did not have enough vegan dishes on their breakfast buffet and although we had wanted to eat it, we decided against it since there was not enough for us to eat. If you are vegetarian, it is okay.

Our stay was very short but what a great place.
The owners run the hotel and they are very welcoming. We wished we could have stayed a few days but were limited due to our business schedule.
Wouldn't think twice about booking it the next time we are visiting Belgium.

The heart and soul of Ghent is the picture-perfect, car-free Old Town. Tour boats ply the Lys River, with the medieval guild houses of Graslei and Korenlei streets casting their reflections upon the placid waters. St. Bavo's Cathedral houses the magnificent Lamb of God altarpiece, painted by the van Eyck brothers in the 1400s. The Gravensteen Castle, built in the 1100s, is another must-see.
