I arrived late at night tired from the road. As usual I pulled back the sheets once in the room. I saw hairs that were not my own on the sheets. Totally unacceptable. I called the front desk and they came up with new sheets. This was a very disappointing experience at a hotel I previously thought of highly. Not so good.

Red Roof Inn was a nice place to stay. I plan to come here again in the future. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean, very quiet and peaceful. I also loved that this hotel was dog friendly. I hope that all hotels become dog friendly some day so people can bring their best friend along. I believe that the hotel being dog friendly definitely brings the hotel more business and I think a lot of people like coming here specifically for that reason.

When we first arrived it was after working ours and the place was closed. I did not check my emails on my home computer before leaving which had the necessary information to allow us entry to the facility. I was not able to retrieve the info from my cell phone for some reason. Luckily, I was able to access my emails on a computer at the hotel next to them, otherwise we would have had to find another place to stay until Monday because the office is closed on Sunday. There was a phone number to call incase of an emergency but that did not help us at the time. When I booked the room, they didn't tell me when the access information would be emailed to me. My only suggestion would be to send out the information much sooner since I did book the room 1 1/2 weeks in advance. If it wasn't for this issue, everything would have been trouble free.

It was clear the place had recently been remodeled - fresh white marble walls, marble elevators, new carpeting - everything was shiny and new. Everything smelled fresh and clean - even the lobby smelled terrific. When I was there, they were also planning to develop a tavern on site, but construction hadn't begun. A bit noisy owing to a fire station on the corner, but if you like a little bustle right off the Red line, it was a great location. I'd book it again.
