On arrival we had a speedy check in , our room was on the first floor facing the street, in the evening this becomes loud until early hours finding it difficult to sleep. the room and hotel need modernising , also the cleaner came in when I was in the room I watched her wipe around the toilet rinsing her cloth in the toilet then washing the sink with the same cloth .
the area of hotel was lovely although I would probably look for other accomadation if to return again

We were travelling independantly but most of the clientele appeared to be from Spain, travelling in groups. The staff are very helpful with good language skills. The breakfast is excellent (included in our rate) with a vast choice of items and good coffee. We took dinner twice (not included for us) and the choice was just as good. It's quite an operation to serve so many people at one sitting but the staff managed it seemlessly. The indoor pool is good. There was some form of entertainment most nights. The location is good though at the end of the promenade - there is a train station a short walk uphill where can go the two stops to Fuengirola centre for a couple of Euros - walk back. A very enjoyable stay that I can truly recommend.

Fuengirola boasts eight kilometres of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels. Although heavily developed, it retains some local identity and glimpses of its historic past. The old port features traditional fishing boats, while the new marina has sleek yachts. A water park, zoo and water sports are the principal diversions while the weekly flea market is the largest and liveliest on the coast. For a glimpse of yesteryear visit neighbouring Boliche.
