At check in they tried to put us in a room which was not what we had paid for. We were put in a twin room with no view, having paid for a double room with a partial sea view we asked to be moved. We were told there were no other rooms available, but when we insisted they found a room with a sea view but still twin beds, which we accepted. After this less than impressive start we found the rest of our stay very enjoyable with the breakfast selection excellent.

I had an amazing time in Feurigola! The hotel is centrally located, it is so close to all local amenities and bars and restaurant. Make sure you explore the area in the evening as there is so much to see and indulge yourself in Spanish cuisine. There is lots and lots of places to dine out right behind the hotel going towards the square where the church is.
The rooftop swimming pool is great, it is a really great ambiance, Spanish music, cocktails or sangria and panoramic view. If you want to stay by the beach, go more towards the amusement park, it might be 10 minutes walk but the beach is more flat and sea calmer than opposite the hotel. You can reserve a sunbeds for all your stay, you wont get a discount, but at least you will have a piece of mind you dont have to rush in the morning to get a good place by the sea. It is only 5 euro per person per day.
We tried cocktails in Kuik and Thaiki, both are great, but Kuik has got cheaper prices.

On arrival we had a speedy check in , our room was on the first floor facing the street, in the evening this becomes loud until early hours finding it difficult to sleep. the room and hotel need modernising , also the cleaner came in when I was in the room I watched her wipe around the toilet rinsing her cloth in the toilet then washing the sink with the same cloth .
the area of hotel was lovely although I would probably look for other accomadation if to return again

Stayed at the hotel for one week, room only basis. Disappointed due to limited hot water, mould on bathroom tiles, had to ask for towel change, no toilet brush, no anti slip bath mat, same sheets all week, no bin in room only in bathroom, general decor of bedroom and bathroom poor. The reception and dining staff were very pleasant and did all they could to help, great location to town centre and beach, it was so let down by the cleanliness. Good pool with plenty of sun loungers, food at hotel good

Fuengirola boasts eight kilometres of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels. Although heavily developed, it retains some local identity and glimpses of its historic past. The old port features traditional fishing boats, while the new marina has sleek yachts. A water park, zoo and water sports are the principal diversions while the weekly flea market is the largest and liveliest on the coast. For a glimpse of yesteryear visit neighbouring Boliche.
