The weather was cool and wet and consequently the hotel was very chilly throughout. Management seem to activate the aircon/heating strictly according to the calendar regardless of the conditions or wishes of the guests.
Bar service - which used to be outstanding - was only so-so.
There is nightly entertainment but the noise is intrusive and makes getting to sleep before 11pm difficult if you have a room on one of the lower floors - the higher up the better.

Room allocated on arrival was not as expected, no sunshine at all, so requested a room change which was allocated the following day. Staff very helpful and pleasant. New room on the west side. Comfortable bed, plenty of space in room and bathroom. Cleaning with fresh towels was excellent, sheets changed during week. Cannot comment on food as did not eat in hotel. Only criticism would be the lack of a kettle in room, had one with me so not a problem but for a four key hotel felt this let it down. Also being near to discos, noisy at weekend.

Had a very nice well appointed two bedroom apartment with a very nice kitchen. DIsappointed that on arrival there was no sachet of coffee or tea or anything for washing up in the kitchen. The kitchen itself is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine but the smallest coffee maker and a toaster but no kettle. The counter top hob was good but the oven was a microwave/ grill that the labels were worn out so difficult to figure out how to use.
There was a safe in the main bedroom but at a cost of €2.50 a day to use and a baby chair was also €2.50 a day.
The location is very good and just a short walk to the beach front and a great selection of restaurants and a train station.
Just across the street is a supermarket with a second at the end of the road stocking up for lunch or dinner is easy.
The hotel deserves a higher rating but the add on charges and the lack of a kettle leave it down. That being said I would stay again but next time I would come prepared.

Stayed at the hotel for one week, room only basis. Disappointed due to limited hot water, mould on bathroom tiles, had to ask for towel change, no toilet brush, no anti slip bath mat, same sheets all week, no bin in room only in bathroom, general decor of bedroom and bathroom poor. The reception and dining staff were very pleasant and did all they could to help, great location to town centre and beach, it was so let down by the cleanliness. Good pool with plenty of sun loungers, food at hotel good

Great hotel, loved the heated outdoor pool. Rooms very spacious and comfy, shower powerful with plenty of hot water. Food and drink very reasonably priced. The hotel does a decent buffet breakfast for 6euro 90. Location spot on, less than 10 minute walk from Fuengirola train station (costs 2euro 70 to get there from malaga airport) Loads of bars restaursnts and shops on the doorstep.

Fuengirola boasts eight kilometres of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels. Although heavily developed, it retains some local identity and glimpses of its historic past. The old port features traditional fishing boats, while the new marina has sleek yachts. A water park, zoo and water sports are the principal diversions while the weekly flea market is the largest and liveliest on the coast. For a glimpse of yesteryear visit neighbouring Boliche.
