We stayed one night in a king suite which had a pullout sofa and our party of 4 plus a small dog slept comfortably. Breakfast was good and the restaurant attached to the hotel was really good and very convenient. This one will stay on our list of hotels to stay at when we travel with our pet!

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was neat and clean, but no shampoo or conditioner, no extra pillows (we asked), and the soap they provided was exceedingly antiseptic smelling (my mom wouldn't use it).
If you want cheap, this is your place. If you want extras, not so much.

We spent one night in this historic inn on our way to Nashville. The inn keepers and staff were extremely accommodating and allowed our dog Molly to stay with us while we ate dinner and breakfast. We would highly recommend this inn especially if you appreciate the value of our nation's history.

Quiet room, good A/C (it was really hot/humid out). Sparse furnishings (single bed, no chairs, small table, small fridge). but clean. Old fixtures in bathroom but functional. The wifi was surprisingly excellent/fast considering the age of the motel.

"This is an old fashioned turn of the century hotel"
Hotel is full of turn of the century furnishings. Doors are not straight and some are difficult to close and lock. All rooms are up stairs with no elevator. But in an old building it is to be expected. Restaurant and pub on premises, good food. Well worth the stay. We a planning on going back with friends for a weekend.

The north Front Royal Entrance to Shenandoah National Park leads to Shenandoah Valley Overlook, providing views across the valley to Signal Knob. Beyond the overlook, the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center features a movie and an interactive exhibit, designed as introductions to the park. The Signal Knob Overlook sits just further in and offers glimpses of its namesake, a Civil War communications post.
