Place is very noisy due to highway traffic, awfully loud bathroom fans and running water from other rooms. Other Guests making lots of noise outside your window and, slamming doors event late at night, without even a light consideration for other guests or the late night hour.
The reception guy acted like he was in a hurry to catch an airplane or something. During the check-in he was rushing so fast, in spite being the only guests checking in at the time. Did not even had a chance to ask my questions after he finished his last sentence he simply disappeared in the back office. few minutes later while calling to to ask about wifi connection (did not had the chance at the front desk). He quickly iterated the steps and hung up before I got a chance to confirm it works or say "thank you". The iron and ironing board looked disgusting and covered in rust. I could not use it to iron out the few wrinkles on my shirt because of the hard water coming allover the shirt. Towels are pretty worn, some were more like sand color than white. Stains of one of the bed sheets. Hairs in the bathtub and on the second morning I found a bug in the tub.
All-in-all I did not expect much from this hotel. I was not there for vacation. I just needed a place to sleep an take a shower while taking care of my husband at the local hospital. I give it a 3 star due to room cleanliness issues.

Stayed for a few random nights. Check in had always been a breeze. Staff had been nice even the housekeeping. Rooms were clean except one room with a broken bathroom door knob.
Internet could be better. The room number location can be a bit confusing.
Parking is decent. But place can be hard to find since you have to go thru the stores parking lot before reaching their entrance.
For the price you pay, this place is good.

The stay was okay very nice staff. The heating and air conditioning system did not work I called the staff to let them know. The room had ants but besides that it was good. The breakfast was a joke t muffin and hot drinks and oranges or apples lol. But at the end it's doable.

Overall it was ok. Staff we encountered was great, but it's just ok. Wifi was weak considering I needed it to get some work done while away and the room overall was definitely older. It's not terrible for the price.

Holiday Inn is one of few hotels in Fremont that has no popcorn ceiling in the bedroom. My husband and I really enjoyed their executive room. The room is clean and spacious. Furniture looks modern. We also like the small kitchen area in the room. We would have given this hotel a score of 5 if not because of the quality of their breakfast. For the same rating hotel, Hampton Inn has a much better quality for breakfast.

Bay Area Rapid Transit rail connects San Francisco and Oakland with Fremont, once a filming location for Charlie Chaplin comedies. This sun-kissed city’s attractions include its 450-acre Central Park; the 1-million-square-foot Pacific Commons shops; and the collector’s haven of Niles Main Street District. The Kite Runner novel is set in Fremont, home to America’s largest Afghan population.
