Have stayed there before but we were somewhat disappointed this time. We made reservations for a short trip and didn't try to change. We were told that water would be cut off the next morning due to changes in the system. Took a long time though to get hot water the night we stayed. Also the ac/heat unit was very noisy. After putting the temperature low for heat had to increase temperature because it was cold in the room. The unit made so much noise I was unable to sleep after 3:am. We told the desk clerk about it when checking out the next morning.

We spent a delightful evening and breakfast at the Inn. Well appointed rooms, excellent desk service including an upgrade to a better available room, and a wine and cheese reception. Highly recommended

I am a Lifetime Diamond member with Hilton and never thought I would find a hotel that could be as good. I was wrong. I checked into the hotel and went to my room and it was GREAT. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing, better than some of the Hilton properties I stay at.

Pocket Guide: Old Town Fredericksburg Fredericksburg Hotels
The colonial past thrives in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvannia and Stafford counties. Visitors can tour George Washington’s boyhood home at Ferry Farm, site of the myth of Washington and the cherry tree. Heavily damaged in the Civil War, Spotsylvannia’s Old Courthouse has county records from 1720. The United States National Slavery Museum marks a shameful chapter in American history.
