Picture is out of date, does not look like the hotel now. Checking in was easy and fast, he was very polite and knew what he was doing. Could hear the people on the stairs which are outside of the hotel, all night long.

Alot more than meets the eye. The comfort of the room I stayed in was amazing. I actually didn't want to leave. Probably the most comfortable bed. Hotel employees were kind and alwayshad smiles on. I'll be back for sure!

I have to say, I was a little nervous when we pulled in to the parking lot. I could tell there was some renovations going on but I had no idea how far they had gotten. We were very pleasantly surprised. The room had been completely remodeled and it was great! Very comfortable and well maintained. There was even a Keurig coffee maker in the room. I'm wishing we had spent the entire trip here. There are a couple of things you should know...they charge a $200 deposit at check in. If you pay in cash, they check your room at checkout and refund immediately. If you put it on a card, they release the hold when you checkout. I was told it simply helps them keep the property in the condition they have worked so hard to get it to. Next, there is a pool next door but it does not belong to the hotel and can not be used by guests. I was also a bit disappointed with the "water view" from our deluxe queen room. The guy I talked with at checkout said they have 70+ rooms and their priority had been to get them in better condition before starting the outside. He said that they will be working throughout the off season to finish their renovations. I can't wait to go back here again.

This is a small facility which has a mixture of room types, some apartments and some regular guest rooms.
On the plus side - Lovely view of Santa Rosa Sound, heated outdoor pool and super hot tub, both of which were immaculately clean. Tidy gardens. Really, really comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful when we were there.
On the negative side - apartment kitchens have NO designated workspace or place to store food, except for huge fridge/freezer. Melamine crockery. Non-apartment rooms don't have coffee maker/ kettle to make hot drinks. No restaurant/ bar on site. Upper floor accessed by metal staircases - very noisy at times when next to your bedroom.
On the whole, I liked it at Marina Bay Resort, and would stay again.

We were very comfortable at this condo for our 8 day stay. We loved that the unit had a washer and dryer along with most all the kitchen supplies that you may need. We really enjoyed watching dolphins and sting rays swim in the ocean right out front almost every morning while enjoying our coffee.
