We booked this hotel (30th anniversary) through Expedia while looking for a cheaper alternative to staying in Geneva (it is actually in France just across the the border about 15mins bus ride. It was better than we hoped for, the accomodation was nice and clean, but it is more like a serviced apartment with reception and a lot of services were extras and there was no safe in the room. On the weekend there were no restaurant services apart from breakfast buffet, this didn't affect us as we had no plans of eating at the hotel. The "Y" bus service from the airport (Going towards Ferney-Voltaire) cost CHF3.40 each and you have to make sure that you are going in the right direction. The stop you get off at is "Avenue du Jura", which is one before the last stop. This stop is around 10 mins from the hotel. Most shops either close early or don't open at all on the weekends, but there are a couple of restaurants/fast food joints nearby and the Carrefour supermarket is open until 8pm on Saturdays(Not on Sunday). There is a charge for housekeeping (if you need it during your stay) and you have to ensure that the kitchen area is clean (or there is a charge of around 9 euros). During our stay we bought our supplies from the supermarket, but you have consider/expect that Geneva is one of the most expensive cities in the world, everything was a lot dearer than anywhere I have been before. If you are flying into Geneva, in the baggage claim area, you can get a 80min free travelcard.

The halls and stairs are currently being renovated because they are quite tatty but our bedroom and the communal dining areas were lovely. Our room had 4 beds and was very spacious and the location is perfect for exploring the town centre.

Room was a bit small, and bed was a fold out sofa, but it did have a kitchen, which was small but clean, and had all the right things, pots pans knives and forks etc.
We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Ok for a few nights or if like us you were leaving early from the airport.
"Good hotel close to Geneva airport ( French side) "
Chose this hotel as its about 10 mins drive from Geneva airport on the French side. Basic but comfortable hotel. Free airport transport from 0630 to 2230, does help as from the airport each day we took the train into Geneva city. Not much around the hotel ( petrol station, McDonald's and 2 other restaurants 5 mins walk away).
I would recommend as its convenient and because of the free shuttle, but not to stay at more than a few days.
