"Wonderful Host and Hostess"
We had a nice stay, though too brief, at Quail Cove Lodge. It's across the lake from all the action, which was good for us. I think we got good value for what we paid, the room was clean, the bedding comfortable, and the host and hostess very hospitable.

Fawnskin is a small community at Grout Bay, on the northern shore of Big Bear Lake; Big Bear City is directly to the east. Before ski resorts opened at the southern end of the lake, Fawnskin was the tourist hub of the area dating back to the 1800s. Downtown has some of the oldest buildings in the valley. Annual events include the Old Miners Doo Dah Parade and the Loggers Jubilee.
