It was close to the lake nice view, it was also walking distance to shops, the only thing about this hotel was the maid service, they did not come by and we were running out of toilet paper, clean towels, and the trash i took out myself, but besides that i would stay again.

The cabin was a good last minute reservation close to everything just a few minutes drive to stores, The Village and the slopes. I felt the community fee was a bit extreme since they dont really do much. They just give you the entry code and ask you repeatedly in the email to clean after yourself. They do provide plenty of movies a dvd player and a great flat Tv for entertainment. I felt the cabin was pricey for the conditions it was in, but overall the stay was nice and comfy.

We had a wonderful time at Lagonita. We spent 5 nights at Lagonita and they were fantastic. We had a 1 bedroom 1 bath bear view room. The room location was magnificent with an extraordinary view of the sunset every evening. room rate was extremely reasonable and the room itself was pleasant. A few minor issues with the handle on the dishwasher and the igniters on the stove but nothing major. We reported the issues to the front desk but weren't terribly concerned about it as they were easily worked around during our stay. The staff was very pleasant. The room was comfortable. Located very close to the Village and within easy driving distance of just about everything on the lake. I would highly recommend Lagonita to anyone looking for nice accommodations with pleasant staff in a convenient location. We will definitely be returning on our next visit.

Staying at The Club is like having your own private condo in Big Bear. The Club is close to the Village shops, so you can just walk there. You have a garage to put your car in. There is an elevator for convenience. We enjoyed our stay there. The only thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star rating is the beds. Their beds were so firm that I felt like I was sleeping on a board. I did not sleep well. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience!

Cute little cottage, we had a little dog with us, so having the cottage was nice. It had a little deck with chairs and was private and had a nice view of trees. Hello, a little plus having a 7 eleven so close for snacks! The spa tub was the hit of the trip, easily fit 2 people!
I wanted to say that we ordered food from the grill attached to the hotel and got it to go, brought the food back to our room and using the desk and some candlelight made a romantic dinner. The ribeye steak was the best or next to the best we have ever had! The food was excellent! And with the bottle of wine we brought with us we had a fantastic time.
Lake Arrowhead Village was super close by too!

Fawnskin is a small community at Grout Bay, on the northern shore of Big Bear Lake; Big Bear City is directly to the east. Before ski resorts opened at the southern end of the lake, Fawnskin was the tourist hub of the area dating back to the 1800s. Downtown has some of the oldest buildings in the valley. Annual events include the Old Miners Doo Dah Parade and the Loggers Jubilee.
