"I love this hotel and it is becoming too popular. "
I have a terrible feeling that too many other people are realising how lovely Faro is and are staying at Eva, because it has everything you need in a hotel and is right in the centre. I may have to start slagging it off to keep the numbers down.

Rather disappointing first night experience, toilet flushing system faulty. Our room on the 3rd floor was unbearable through bad insulation. We did not sleep a wink as the noise from the dining area was constant, fortunately we were moved to a better room on the second floor. We would have preferred a double bed instead of twin beds.
Staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant.
If you stay there avoid the third floor unless they provide complimentary ear plugs.

Very nice boutique hotel, the setting is breath-taking, the in- and exterior is just wonderful (the place has even a small chapel). The only drawdown is the dining room which looks very uninviting, a few windows and in a side-track.

Late checkin after our flight, but staff very welcoming. Room was exactly what we hoped for but a little unclean in the bathroom (mouldy in places). However this was only minor & the next morning's breakfast was outstanding for only €6pp.

This bustling characterful little town, gateway to the region, is overlooked by most Algarve visitors. Its elegant cobbled, peaceful Old Town is a delight for strolling. The Cathedral is its highlight; climb to the top for wonderful views across Faro’s lagoon. The newer, late 19th-century part of town is a likeable jumble of shopping streets, local bars and restaurants, a regional museum and the Carmo Church with a ghoulish bone chapel.
