Extremely pretty hotel with good pool area and spa facilities. Bar food reasonable but restaurant very expensive. Good local restaurant 2 mins walk from hotel. Extremely clean hotel, rooms comfy and air conditioning excellent. Not much to do outside hotel unless you have car or get taxis. Faro worth a look. I would certainly try another pusada hotel.

We loved our experience at Casa de Estoi from the beginning to the end. Very warm welcome from Caterina who looked after us our entire stay. We felt at home. The hotel itself is lovely with lots of character and a nice swimming pool. A great buffet breakfast with fresh fruits and orange juice, homemade cake, croissants, cheese, ham, eggs etc...Estoi is a pretty little village 15 min drive from Faro. This hotel is perfect if you want.somewhere peaceful.

I have enjoyed stay at the guest house as the staff was friendly, it was close to many places such as city centre close to the bus that was going to the beach. Room was always very clean. I would reccommend to any people that dont want to spend a lot of money and still have a good night sleep.

"Centrally located to the old town and faro town "
If you want spend some nights here and just get the basics, then hotel sol is great, private parking that is only 5 euros a day , it was not too bad... only thing that probably could improve was the shower doors as the plastic panels were coming off but other than that, it was a good nights rest

This bustling characterful little town, gateway to the region, is overlooked by most Algarve visitors. Its elegant cobbled, peaceful Old Town is a delight for strolling. The Cathedral is its highlight; climb to the top for wonderful views across Faro’s lagoon. The newer, late 19th-century part of town is a likeable jumble of shopping streets, local bars and restaurants, a regional museum and the Carmo Church with a ghoulish bone chapel.
