"Nice"
Was surprised to see no bed. I thought there was a bed and a Murphy bed. Would be nice if there were larger rooms. Only stayed overnight it was comfortable and clean. Nice.

"Convenient motel; excellent staff "
The Mariner is a nice cape cod motel. It is certainly not a luxury hotel or resort ( and they don't claim to be). However, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The location was excellent for catching the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, as well as for dining in Falmouth, which has several lovely restaurants and one of the best French patisseries we have found outside Paris. The best part of the stay was how friendly and helpful Carla, who manages the hotel with her husband was. From providing guidance on the vineyard ferry to assisting with parking and dinner choices, she couldn't have been more helpful. She certainly helps set the Mariner apart from other motels in the area.

"Beautiful B & B on bike trail, near beaches "
My friend and I spent 4 nights in this beautiful bed and breakfast. The property is conveniently located on Route 28 in Falmouth. Not only is the house on a bike trail, but you are allowed to use the bikes for free, even to take to the Vinyard, a 40 minute ride by ferry. We went over twice using the Queen Authority first from Falmouth and the Steamship Authority from Woods Hole the next. The Steamship was cheaper and better. But there are really nice beaches nearby. Woods Hole is nearby where the University of Chicago has a marine oceanography branch. Our favorite restaurant was Landing Fall. The food was also great at Crabapple, walking distance from Frederick William house.

This will be a great place to stay once the renovation is complete. Easy to find, close to many attractions, the rooms are a good size, and the beds were so comfortable.

"We loved our stay"
We really enjoyed our stay in Falmouth at the Tom Lawrence House. The inn was located near the bike trail and was within walking distance to many nice restaurants. Baker and Justin were wonderful hosts and were very helpful in every way. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying the beauty of this area.

Pocket Guide: Cape Cod Falmouth Hotels

The Bourne and Sagamore bridges cross the Cape Cod Canal, linking the mainland and Cape. Sandwich, located by the canal, preserves its heritage as the Cape’s oldest town. Falmouth, a quintessential New England town, is flanked by Buzzards Bay and the Nantucket Sound. The Nobska Light sits at the tip of this peninsula in Woods Hole, a hub for oceanic research and home to an aquarium and ferry port.
