The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk to the centre of town. When we arrived there were no parking spaces available and so had to ask for change for the local ca park. Check was quick and easy and I thought the receptionist said we had been given a better room, which I was glad to hear as all the reviews I had read stated how small the rooms are. When we got to the room it was very small. Just enough room for the bed. The wardrobe was extremely small and we couldn't hang all of our clothes and shut the door properly - and we were only there for two nights! Plus, there was not one drawer we could use to store clothes or other items. Never been in a hotel room that has absolutely no drawers. Breakfast the next day was quick, but would recommend you get breakfast in town for a fraction of the price and better quality.

It's a nice hotel near the sea, but the rooms are quite dated. We were unable to access the outdoor pool after 4pm due to staff shortage, which was a shame considering it was during the hottest days of the year.
The hotel staff especially restaurant staff were very friendly and the dinner menu was nice, breakfast selection was vast with a huge variety of items.

I booked a two room apartment as we were staying overnight with my daughter and granddaughter.
Check in staff were efficient and very informative. In fact all staff we came into contact were very pleasant. We will use this hotel again without a doubt when next in the area.

Devon’s principal town, Exeter is not only an historical city but also a lively student centre. Don’t miss the medieval cathedral, one of England’s finest, while the Royal Albert Memorial Museum houses one of England’s best provincial collections. Visitors can take a cruise from Exeter Quayside and visit the quaint port of Topsham. Bicton Gardens is a popular outing and Exeter is also handily placed for exploring Dartmoor and the English Riviera.
