"Central location. Close to shops and restaurants. "
Perfect hotel to stop for one night on our way to Cornwall. Plenty of parking nearby even though there is no parking at the hotel. Room was small but immaculately clean and overlooked the cathedral. Enough room for a bed for our 6 year old. Staff were helpful and even stored our pedal cycles overnight rather than leaving them on the car.

We often use this hotel when travelling to Exeter. The building is very charming and has been sympathetically restored and added to. The gardens are very pretty and the pool always kept clean and tidy. The communal areas are kept clean and tidy also and breakfast is delicious. The menu in the bistro could be extended a little more and seems expensive for what's on offer. All in all nice staff and a friendly atmosphere.

Hotel had everything you would want, Sky TV, nice bathroom, etc. However the walls were thin, as I was woken up at night and early in the morning as you can hear everyone's movements and conversations. Otherwise I really pleasant stay.

Great location and very comfortable rooms - with lovely breakfast available, but check your booking if you go through a third party as on both occasions we did this (with 2 different well known travel sites) the information about number of beds and set up did not reach the staff / hotel booking system - sleeping 3 in a bed with our 4 year old made the experience less restful !

A lovely hotel, tucked away in the lanes some six miles South of Exeter. The staff are the most helpful and personable hotel staff I have ever come across! Especially thoughtful was their courtesy call to me prior to my arrival to check that I was not lost and was able to find the place. They were also able to help when I realised the following morning that I had forgotten to pack my shaver!
The staff are confident and are genuinely interested in you. They are given the time to chat with guests and make them feel welcome.

"Good position and loads of parking and very clean"
The hotel was immaculate and the staff were very helpful and friendly, there was loads of parking and the room was more than big enough. The breakfast was brilliant and red hot and the waitress couldn't help enough. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and bed and breakfasts but this was as good as a 4 star i will definitely be staying here again.

Devon’s principal town, Exeter is not only an historical city but also a lively student centre. Don’t miss the medieval cathedral, one of England’s finest, while the Royal Albert Memorial Museum houses one of England’s best provincial collections. Visitors can take a cruise from Exeter Quayside and visit the quaint port of Topsham. Bicton Gardens is a popular outing and Exeter is also handily placed for exploring Dartmoor and the English Riviera.
