We had a beautiful Condo! My sister and I loved the spacious condo, we each had our own bedroom (very comfortable beds) and bathroom, loved the fire place and the deck with a beautiful view. What a large open living and kitchen area to cook some of our meals. It had all the amenities you could want and more. Was great to have a washer and dryer however we never used them. Everything was very clean and tidy and had beautiful decor in all the rooms. The first morning our toaster burned our toast on one side, the coils didn't work on the other side. I called up to the front desk and they brought us a new one right down. For the most part it was quite, but the people up above us when they would walk was very noisy, also you could hear the hot tub run all the time when we were watching TV in the living room at night.

Do to circumstances, my family had to make a last-minute decision during the middle of our vacation and go to Estes Park on the eastern side of the Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). We were literally looking for rooms at 3:00pm for that night and because it was 'out of season' (mid-March), there were a lot of rooms available. I don't recall why we chose Coyote Mountain Lodge beyond the fact that they had great rates. After securing our online reservation and then driving another three hours to get there, we were greeted with an authentic smile and a very warm welcome by the woman at the front desk. Not only did she help us with where to eat, things to see and do, etc., but she offered a complimentary room upgrade at the rate we had already booked online. When we got to our room we were very pleased! The room was large and newly renovated, very clean and fresh. It had two queen beds, a great bathroom with lots of towels, a mini-fridge/freezer, flat screen TV, AND a huge deck with chairs and table that looked out over the incredibly beautiful snow-capped mountains in the RMNP. I can only guess that this place is family owned, because everything was so well cared for. We also enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and watching the elk graze just on the other side of the fence. All in all, it was a great experience and we look forward to coming back again in the summer to do a lot more hiking. If so, we will definitely be staying at Coyote Mountain Lodge.

"Cool, Mountain Lodge Resort Overlooking Estes Park"
Just 1 night, early-March / off-season. Checked in late, after dark and it was VERY difficult to find the road up the mountain, even with gps - TIP: If unfamiliar with Estes Park, find it during daylight; much easier. Anyway, it was big, quiet, a little creepy, but, also a little cool because you could tell it was a place with a long history. We were in a basement room that looked recently updated. Although the entrance into the room was very narrow, past the kitchenette, it was surprisingly spacious - good floor plan / layout. Bed was comfortable but temp was a little warm. Couldn't control the old thermostat so had to use a ceiling fan. Noticed a lot of "knocking" from the ceiling and the water rushing through the plumbing was very loud - you knew when someone in another room had gone to the bathroom or was showering. Coffee on the deck the next morning offered a great view of Estes Park, Stanley Hotel, Rockies and a territorial feud between squirrels in the trees. Took a few minutes to walk the property before leaving and discovered it was a resort with many amenities, picturesque vantage points and photo ops. Imagined it might be nice place to stay during the peak season in Estes Park.

We truly enjoyed our stay- we visit the Estes Park Area often and try to choose new places to try- This is a very calm and comfortable place to stay up in the hills. The drive to town is short. The lobby is warm and inviting especially with the giant fireplace and comfy leather sofas. Sipping tea by a roaring fire was very relaxing.,
Our room was clean, and comfortable we had a great view of the mountains. The bed was very cozy.
Overall a very nice place to stay- we mainly just wanted a place to unwind and relax in which we did - but they offer activities that seem fun and relaxing.
