"Excellent staff, warm and welcoming environment "
We were in Vieques for 2 nights and left wishing we could have stayed longer. The staff at Hacienda Tamarindo was fantastic! Everyone was welcoming, warm, and accommodating. They got to know us in the little time we were there. My partner and I felt very safe and comfortable. I definitely recommend Hacienda Tamarindo. Cannot wait to go back!

Casa de tortuga was wonderful. A spacious room with a nice bathroom, a comfortable patio and a nice pool. Walking distance to everything. Pleasant and helpful staff. The only negative I have is that the neighbors to the property have a very loud and active rooster that will wake you up if you're trying to sleep in.

Well-run affordable guest house. In quiet residential area 10 minute walk from the Malecon. Nice rooftop area for lounging. Breakfast not provided, but there is a nice breakfast area with all the essentials provided - bowls, dishes, glasses, utensils. Guest rooms are small.

Remember...this is a hostel not a hotel/motel. Keeping that in mind, Lazy Hostel is a charming place to stay if you're looking to save a few $. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms and facilities are clean. The best part is that you are located in a charming beach town on the island of Vieques, across the street from the beach with good snorkeling reefs for beginners. Great food within walking distance and friendly locals, Lazy Hostel is the way to go on Vieques.

We loved every minute of our experience in PR. We were there for 5 days to celebrate my 30th, and it felt like we were there for weeks. Not only does PR, and namely Vieques, have some of the world's most stunning natural wonders, but every person seems to be in love with their lives -- truly humbling. Hotel staff at Esperanza Inn was incredible and welcoming. They take care of foster animals, which was an added bonus because they were all well-behaved and completely adorable. We almost left with a dog, had he not already been adopted. Everything was clean and bigger than expected. We were only there for one night, but certainly would have taken more advantage of their amenities had we been there longer. If you want to scope the bio bay (we recommend JAK Water Sports -- they were the most knowledgeable, passionate and you whip around in glass-bottom kayaks), Esperanza Inn is the perfect place to stay as it's only a 2 block walk from the pick up spot (plus Lazy Jacks is THE late night hang out spot if you're trying to meet a bunch of wonderful strangers). When we go back to Vieques, we'll definitely be staying here.

We enjoyed our stay here, as the hotel is lovely and close to everything in Esperanza, which is a lively town with good restaurants and laid back atmosphere. The hotel was clean, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was very nice with excellent coffee. The small pool is a terrific amenity. The only negative was noise in the corridor, but Vieques quiets down pretty early, so sleeping was never a problem.
