Great view, beautiful grounds and infinity pool. Not so bad the beach. Can improve service. Facilities with poor maintenace (bar, restaurant). Furniture in bad shape... A town GEM, but need TLC. Excelent for brekfast, but pricey not so good for dinner
(need more natural ingredients). Main entrance urgenly needs clear illumination (too dark). NO handicaped access. Bring flip-flop if dont want to damage your HHLS or Shoes.

Very friendly manager. Nice swimming pool that we often had to ourselves. There is a non-touristy convenience store around the corner. The Malecon is a couple minutes away on foot, with several cool restaurants. We booked a tour of the Bio-luminescent Bay at Abe's, and they will pick you up at their storefront the night of your tour.
The window AC unit struggled to keep up, even while sustained at its highest setting, but the two ceiling fans helped to mitigate. No TV in room. Wifi did not work in the room - we had to move outdoors into a 'public area' nearer the building office to catch the signal.
Lots of interesting animals abound. There are small lizards all over (outside), maybe 4" long. Feral horses once you get away from the busy streets. A giant iguana scrambled into the pool once. There are roosters, as mentioned in other reviews. They're definitely noisy but it's not that disruptive with the windows shut and AC on.
Overall a cool place to stay.
